Base Class: Monk
Gun monk, that's literally it.
Firearm Mastery
Your training with firearms gives you proficiency in sleight of hand, as well as allowing you to negate disadvantage at close range with your firearms.
Lead Slinger Finesse
The intermingling of ki focusing and firearm technology from this monastic tradition have yielded some unique interactions between one's ki and their weapons. When making an attack or any ki features, ki point can be spent to perform one of the following maneuvers:
- When making an attack or using a ki feature, your nimble fingers can manipulate your firearm to reload without using your bonus action to do so (1 ki).
- When making an attack, you can propel the weapon's projectile with a ki boost to deal force damage equal to the die at the current level of the martial arts table (1 ki).
Ki Projection
Through the improved mastery of one's ki, the following effects can be imposed when making an attack with a firearm:
- Smokescreen: Upon making an attack, you can focus your ki into the explosion and fill a 10x10 cube with smoke, granting a +2 to AC to any creature obscured by the smoke from an attacker (2 ki).
- Breathless Aim: Before attacking, you can use your ki to increase the accuracy of your next shot, stabilizing your body and adding a +5 to hit on the following attack (2 ki).
- Lead Spray: When making a flurry of blows attack, the unarmed strikes are replaced by shots from a handgun, doing damage either from the weapon's damage model or the martial arts table, whichever is higher (2 ki).
- Ki Infused Slug: Before attacking, you fill the bullet with your ki and launch a high-powered ki strike at the target, dealing force damage instead of the normal damage type for the weapon (2 ki).
Ki Disruption Slugs
The ki infused into your slugs can infiltrate the target's body when hit, causing one of the following effects:
- Lethargic Slug - The affected target's ki flow is impaired, reducing their movement by 20 feet until the end of their next turn (1 ki)
- Elemental Slug - The affected target's ki is transmuted into a burst of damaging elemental energy, dealing damage equal to the die from the martial arts table which can be one of the following types: Fire, Cold, Lightning, Acid, Poison, Thunder (2 ki)
- Overloading Slug - The target's ki is concentrated into a their eyes or ears, causing either the blind or deaf condition until the end of their next turn (1 ki)
- Maiming Slug - The slug draws ki from the source of the target's physical power, reducing the target's attack to hit and damage by your wisdom modifier (minimum of 1), the effect can be ended by taking an action to remove the slug (1 ki)
- Draining Slug - The slug draws ki from the source of the target's nonphysical power power, reducing the target's spelling casting attack modifer and spell save DC by your wisdom modifier (minimum of 1), the effect can be ended by taking an action to remove the slug (3 ki)
- Lingering Slug - The slug siphons the target's ki from the point of impact, causing force damage equal to the die from the martial arts table upon the target taking an action or moving for the first time that turn, the slug can be removed by the target by expending their action to dig it out (2 ki)
- Tracking Slug - The slug imparts a traceable signature into the target's ki, allowing you to know their location for the following 24 hours, the effect can be nullified by dispel magic (1 ki)
- Anchoring Slug - The slug tethers the target's ki to this plane of existence, preventing them from using teleportation magic until they take an action to remove the slug (1 ki)
- Disorienting Slug - The slug floods the target's mind, forcing them to make a INT save or be confused, requiring a successful INT save at the end of their next turn to break out of their mental fog (2 ki)
- Staggering Slug - The affected target's ki is disrupted in a particular aspect of its being, imposing disadvantage on the next save or attack they make (3 ki)
Whirlwind of Lead
Once per day, you can channel your ki into a chaotic burst of projectiles, peppering the battlefield and imposing a variety of effects on any targets that are hit. The whirlwind has a range of 300 feet, produces a number of projectiles equal to your proficiency modifier than can be targeted to any amount of creatures within range, from one projectile hitting a unique target to all six projectiles hitting the same creature. Each projectile makes an attack roll with a bonus equal to your proficiency plus DEX modifier, and on hit you roll a d10 to determine which ki infused slug effect afflicts the target. Each projectile deals 3d10 force damage.
