Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

You have been gifted with a voice whose authority carries the weight of arcane might. Your verbal spells are especially potent, and you are particularly vulnerable without your voice. Beware the Silence. Those gifted with the Words of Power must learn to choose their words carefully, lest a slip of the tongue spell doom for an innocent who hears it.

Words of Power

1st level. Your voice gains weight and force in the Weave. You can learn any spell that requires only verbal components.

Sticks and Stones...

1st Level. When you cast a spell composed solely of verbal components which is 1st level or higher you gain additional AC equal to half your spellcasting attack modifier until the start of your next turn.

Arcane Voice

6th Level. When you use your action to cast a spell of 1st level or higher, you can use your bonus action to cast another spell of 1st level or higher, or vice versa. To use this ability both spells used must use only verbal components.

Arcane Command

14th Level. Your words carry the essence of creation, reality bending upon your command. As an action you can speak a single word to perform one of the following feats;

  • Banish or Summon a large or smaller object, or creature of CR equal to or lower than 5, that you can see, to another plane.
  • Instantly kill, or put to sleep, a creature with hit points equal to, or lower than your level, that you can see.
  • Magically command a creature of CR equal to or lower than 5, that you can see.

You can use your Arcane Command once per short or long rest.

Whispers of Doom

18th level. When you cast a solely verbal spell that targets one creature, you can cause it to target any number of additional creatures within 20ft of you.
