Base Class: Warlock
Due to your affiliation with the otherworldly Radio Demon, your appearance and/or personality may have been altered. Choose two of the following quirks or roll on the table below:
Radio Warlock Quirks
| D10 | Quirk (pick 2) |
|---|---|
|
1 |
Unless you consciously and actively make an effort to change your facial expression, you are always wearing a smile (though not necessarily a happy one). |
|
2 |
Your teeth are unnaturally sharp, almost like those of a shark. |
|
3 |
You have small antlers sprouting from your head. |
|
4 |
Your eyes are a bright red and your irises look like they have little singular clock hands on them. |
|
5 |
Your fingers and overall stature is unnaturally thin, but without making you look underfed. |
|
6 |
You get bored easily and always look for new amusement. |
|
7 |
Out of conviction, you only wear red. |
|
8 |
You have a penchant for over-sharing, liking to "broadcast" your successes to any willing or non-willing audience. |
|
9 |
Aspiring to be more like your patron, you try to make deals with people wherever you go. |
|
10 |
When it is dark around you, your eyes start to glow menacingly (but not enough to shed any real light). |
Additionally, whenever you use a spell that creates sound, it doesn't matter what the spell's description states, the sound is always replaced by varying radio noises (for example if you cast dissonant whispers, the spell effect, instead of creating whispers like normal, creates incredibly loud static).
Whenever you use your Warlock features -- and sometimes randomly at the DM's or your own discretion -- you sound like you're talking through an old radio for a certain amount of time (duration may depend on the cause of the effect).
Expanded Spell List
The Radio Demon lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Fiendish Eloquence
Serving the charming Radio Demon himself, you have learned his exceptional way with words. You gain proficiency in the Persuation skill.
Mental Live-Stream
At 1st level, Alastor bestows you with the ability to telepathically broadcast your thoughts to up to 2 creatures within 30 feet of you in a language you know. The creatures have to share the chosen language with you in order to understand you and your communication doesn't give the creature the ability to respond to you telepathically.
Any words you broadcast this way, sound to the recipients as if they were spoken through an old radio.
This ability expands to 4 creatures within 40 feet when you reach Warlock level 4 and to 6 creatures within 60 feet when you reach level 8.
Gruesome Broadcast
At 6th level, you gain the ability to broadcast your carnage to the people around you. When you reduce an enemy to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to force up to 3 creatures within 30 feet of you to make a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you for 1 minute.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you complete a short or long rest. It doesn't affect creatures that are immune to being charmed or frightened.
Crackling Dread
At 10th level, the very air seems to glitch and tear around you as you channel the Radio Demon's presence.
By taking your action to expend a spell slot, you can cause static to spread through the surrounding area, up to 40 feet around you. Any enemy within the static must make a Wisdom saving throw if it moves into the area or starts its turn there, or suffer the effects until the start of its next turn.
The static persists, growing louder and more intense over time. It dissipates if you are knocked unconscious, if there are no visible enemy creatures, or if you dismiss it as a bonus action. The area moves to remain centered on you.
Crackling Dread is cumulative, so affected enemies suffer all previous effects as well as the current one.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you complete a long rest.
Crackling Dread
| turns passed | effects |
|---|---|
|
0 |
Enemies have a -5 penalty on their initiative. |
|
1 |
Enemies have disadvantage on attacks against you, since the static makes you difficult to see. |
|
2 |
Enemies take psychic damage equal to 1d6 + your Charisma modifier. |
|
3 |
The crackling becomes so loud that the creatures in the area are treated as deafened. This doesn't affect you. |
|
4+ |
Enemies are paralyzed. |
Pentagram Contract
At 14th level, you can leverage Alastor's many deals with the powerful beings of the world. If you cast a spell such as Infernal Calling or Conjure Fey, the summoned creature will be unable to harm you in any way; however, this protection does not extend to your allies.
If you use this feature while summoning a demon or devil, it acts as it would if you'd said its true name.
After using Pentagram Contract, you must complete a long rest to use it again.
