Bard
Base Class: Bard
There once was a ship that put to sea
The name of the ship was the Billy of Tea
The winds blew up, her bow dipped down
Oh blow, my bully boys, blow (huh)
Soon may the Wellerman come
To bring us sugar and tea and rum
One day, when the tonguing is done
We'll take our leave and go
She'd not been two weeks from shore
When down on her a right whale bore
The captain called all hands and swore
He'd take that whale in tow (huh)
Soon may the Wellerman come
To bring us sugar and tea and rum
One day, when the tonguing is done
We'll take our leave and go
Da-da-da-da-da
Da-da-da-da-da-da-da
Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da
Before the boat had hit the water
The whale's tail came up and caught her
All hands to the side, harpooned and fought her
When she dived down low (huh)
Soon may the Wellerman come
To bring us sugar and tea and rum
One day, when the tonguing is done
We'll take our leave and go
No line was cut, no whale was freed
The captain's mind was not of greed
And he belonged to the Whaleman's creed
She took that ship in tow (huh)
Soon may the Wellerman come
To bring us sugar and tea and rum
One day, when the tonguing is done
We'll take our leave and go
Da-da-da-da-da
Da-da-da-da-da-da-da
Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da
For forty days or even more
The line went slack then tight once more
All boats were lost, there were only four
But still that whale did go (huh)
Soon may the Wellerman come
To bring us sugar and tea and rum
One day, when the tonguing is done
We'll take our leave and go
As far as I've heard, the fight's still on
The line's not cut, and the whale's not gone
The Wellerman makes his regular call
To encourage the captain, crew and all (huh)
Soon may the Wellerman come
To bring us sugar and tea and rum
One day, when the tonguing is done
We'll take our leave and go
Soon may the Wellerman come
To bring us sugar and tea and rum
One day, when the tonguing is done
We'll take our leave and go

Sing along!

When you join the College of the Sea Artist at 3rd level you learn to sing boisterous Sea Shanties that always keep your crew on task.

You can use your action to start a performance, any round when you are performing all your allies get temp health equal to your bard level plus your CHA modifier

You can continue this performance with a bonus action.

This temp health does not stack but can refresh with each round you continue your performance.

This performance requires concentration.

Any time you use a spell that requires verbal components this performance ends.

The year was 1778

At 3rd level, your songs make your ship a happier place.

Any ship you crew has +10 Charisma

Freestyle

At 6th level, you learn to weave your spells into your songs.

Your performance is no longer interrupted by Verbal spells.

You gain advantage on Constitution checks that break your concentration on your song.

When refreshing your performance you can use your Bardic Inspiration as part of the same Bonus Action.

Distracting Rhythm

At 14th level,  you've mastered your Performance.

Your performance no longer requires concentration and cannot be interrupted or stopped unless you're otherwise incapacitated. (Silence, sleep, unconscious, etc..)

Any creature that can hear your song has disadvantage on attacks made against you.

While performing, Instead of giving an ally your Bardic inspiration on your turn, you can instead roll the die yourself and save the bonus to give to a target of your choice as a reaction.
