Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

A collector swirls pearlescent sand around in her palm with a raven feather creating a whirlwind of black dust flying through the air; A painter scrawls on a tiny piece of parchment setting the room around him ablaze; A writer reads out a chapter of their new book and the world goes silent around them. Spell Weaver's unlike other wizards develop their affinity for magic through discovery over study. Spell weavers through adventure and exploration, discover the innate magical properties of objects, words, and images weaving them together and creating a magical effect. This form of practice can lead to the creation of new and exciting spells or creating a strange and often undesired effect. The unruly nature of magic when channeled through an unstudied practitioner can have often wild outcome. When a Spell Weaver wizard critically fails on a spell attack roll or fails on a new spell roll there is a magic surge and an unintended effect takes place.

Magic Molding

Beginning when you select Spell Weaver at 2nd level, you can change the damage type of spells. (Fire damage to cold damage, piercing damage to psychic damage etc.) at the expense of taking psychic damage of the spell level plus your wizard level for a minimum of 2 psychic damage.

Spell Weaving

Starting at 2nd level, you can quickly weave magic creating a desired spell effect. Spell weavers have an instinctual understanding of magic and can mash spells together in the heat of battle, However these spells may not have the desired effect. Roll a spell attack on the creature you wish to cast a woven spell against, on a success the spell has the desired effect on a fail the player must roll on a wild magic sheet, on a critical fail the spell backfires and causes the spell damage on you or an ally (DM discretion). If the woven spell is a damage causing spell it must do dice damage similar to that of a spell in the same casted level.

Once you weave a spell you can’t create another until you finish a long rest. At 5th level you can spell weave twice, at 10th three times, and at 15th level you can do it four times per long rest.

Greater Casting

Starting at 6th level, as a bonus action you can apply a greater area of effect or cause a spell to affect more creatures. The spell grows by 25%, 100 feet of distance becomes 125 feet, 4 creatures affected becomes 5.

Interclass Weaving

You can tap into other class spell lists if you have seen the spell casted by using one of your spell weaving slots and the spell slot 1 level higher than the spell is normaly casted at. If a spell has level scaling you must use the lowest level that it can be casted at.

Expert Weaver

Starting at 14th level, you can use an extra spell weaving slot to Give yourself advantage on woven spells. If you already have advantage on the spell attack you automatically hit the target with your woven spell.
