Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks that follow the Way of the Blur focus on speed. To them, the best defense is to move so fast that they can’t be targeted and the best offense is to move so fast that their opponent can’t see them coming. Monks that follow this tradition learn to condition their bodies, tapping into their Ki to increase their speed. This increase allows them to not only run ahead of their allies, but also react quicker, attack faster, and even enter altered states of pure speed.

Note: Several of these abilities allow you to spend Ki points to cast spells. You do not need the material components of the spells, but you still have to maintain concentration if the spell normally requires it.

Enhanced Speed

Your training with the Way of the Blur makes you faster than other monks. Starting at 3rd level, your speed bonus granted from Unarmored Movement increases by an additional 5 feet.

In addition, Step of the Wind no longer requires Ki points.

Quick Combatant

Starting at 6th level, you can spend 1 Ki point to cast Shield, using your enhanced speed to dodge attacks that normally would’ve hit you.

In addition, when you use the Flurry of Blows feature, you can spend an additional Ki point to make one extra attack.

Ki Rush

Beginning at 11th level, your Ki can be used to temporarily bring you into an altered state, making you even faster than you were before. You can spend 3 ki points to cast Haste with a range of self.

One With The Wind

At 17th level, your mastery over speed lets you briefly move faster than the eye can track, allowing you to make devastating attacks. You can spend 5 ki points to cast Steel Wind Strike.
