Druid
Base Class: Druid

Druids from the Circle of Troll Home can tap into the essence of the misunderstood giants of ridges and bridges. They understand the deep, natural connection between Trolls and the mountains they call home. And they demonstrate with their power that to know a Troll, is a gift.

Druids of this circle develop strong relations with Trolls and Giants, and through their benevolant gifts they aim to raise the social repect shown to Trolls, and perhaps even move them up the Ordning.

Mountain Talk

You learn to speak, read, and write Giant. Additionally, whenever you make a Charisma check when interacting with giants, your proficiency bonus is doubled if it applies to the check.

Troll's Mantle

As an action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature to embue yourself, or a willing ally within 20ft of your position, with the lumbering power of a Troll. The target of Troll's Mantle gains 4 temporary hit points for each level you have in this class, and the target's Strength score changes to a score granted by Troll's Mantle. This has no effect on them if their Strength without the Mantle is equal to or greater than the new score. The new Strength score is equal to 10 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom bonus.

Additionally, they can make a single weapon attack as a bonus action on each turn.

Troll's Mantle lasts for 10 minutes, until the target loses all their temporary hit points gained from this ability, or until you use your Wild Shape again.

Trollhide

From 6th level, Troll's Mantle is even more powerful in battle. While your Troll's Mantle feature is active on a creature, their AC becomes 14 + their Dexterity bonus (minimum total of 15), unless it would already be higher. Their hands also grow long, blacknail claws that they can use to make an unarmed strike. If they hit with it, they deal slashing damage equal to 2d6 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.

Blood of a Troll

When you reach 10th level, you learn to embue more than just a Troll's strength and prowess and can now harness the regenerative power of their form.

The target of your Troll's Mantle feature regains 5 hit points at the start of each of their turns. If they take acid or fire damage, this trait doesn't function at the start of their next turn. You can also use an action to end Troll's mantle early to resore a severed body part of the target.

Trolls mantle no longer ends early on a creature if they lose all their temporary hit points gained from this ability, but it will end if the creature is incapacitated, dies, or you use your wildshape again.

Trollkin

At 14th level, when you use your Troll's Mantle feature, you can target one additional creature within range, including yourself, with the same action, to gain its benefits.
