Base Class: Monk
Inspired by the tactics of su-monsters, monastic orders developed in the jungles and frozen peaks that these creatures inhabit. Monks of the Way of the Su can channel their ki to, quite literally, bend the minds of their opponents and dominate their enemies, inside and out. A Su monk typically tries diplomacy before going headlong into combat, preferring to use their ki towards influence.
Synaptic Clout
When you pick this tradition at 3rd level, you learn the mage hand and message cantrips. You can make the spectral hand invisible and you are able to make ranged spell attacks with it, which use the damage die listed for your Martial Arts feature. Damage dealt this way becomes psychic damage.
When you gain the Stunning Strike feature, it works in tandem with your mage hand.
Bend Will
Starting when you reach 6th level, your psychic prowess may influence others to your every command. When you or an ally makes an Animal Handling (Wisdom), Deception (Charisma), Insight (Wisdom), Intimidation (Charisma), or Persuasion (Charisma) check, you may expend a Ki point to add your Wisdom modifier to the new roll.
If the check succeeds, the target must then succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be placed under the effects of the charm person spell. The saving throw DC for the effect equals (8 + your Wisdom modifier + your proficiency bonus).
Oneness of Body and Mind
At 11th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to your Initiative rolls and your Acrobatics and Stealth skill checks. Additionally, as an action, you can spend 4 ki points to cast telekinesis.
Psionic Field
At 17th level, you passively emit a field of psychokinetic energy in the area around you. You are always aware of any creature within a 30-foot radius of you. If a creature enters this field, it cannot gain advantage on attack rolls made against you and if they hit you with a melee attack while in this field, you may spend 2 ki points to gain +5 Armor Class against the attack.
