Monk
Base Class: Monk

In every huff of wind, every crackle of lightning, the dance of every swirling cloud, do the Tempestarii find their strength. Every practicing monk of this tradition is a weather mage, reviving ancient storm magic lost to time.

With this, you can spam some lightning and run like a ninja.

Static Storm Bolt

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can hurl searing bolts of magical lightning.

You gain a new attack option that you can use with the Attack action. This special attack is a ranged spell attack with a range of 30 feet. You are proficient with it, and you add your Dexterity modifier to its attack and damage rolls. Its damage is lightning, and its damage die is a d4. This die changes as you gain monk levels, as shown in the Martial Arts column of the Monk table.

When you take the Attack action on your turn and use this special attack as part of it, you can spend 1 ki point to make the special attack twice as a bonus action.

When you gain the Extra Attack feature, this special attack can be used for any of the attacks you make as part of the Attack action.

At 6th level, you may treat Static Storm Bolts as unarmed strikes for the purpose of applying Stunning Strike.

Thunderous Clap

At 6th level, you learn the ability to convert swirling ki in your palms to emit a powerful wave of energy.

You spend 2 ki points to cast Thunderwave as a bonus action, without having to provide material components. The spell's level increases by 1 for each additional ki point you spend.

Heaven's Lance

At 11th level, you have become so attuned to the storm that you gain the ability to emulate one of nature's most beautiful and destructive events: Lightning.

You can spend 4 ki points to cast Lightning Bolt without material components. The spell's level increases by 1 for each additional ki point you spend.

Storm Wing

At 17th level, you can focus your thought into the cosmic grandeur of the storm and untether yourself from the earth.

You can expend 4 ki points to cast Fly on yourself. When you do so, you ignore its material components.
