Base Class: Rogue
Wings circle overhead, bringing terror and destruction with each pass. While others cower in the shadows of the alleyway in a vain effort to shelter themselves from monstrous wrath, you do so to bid your time. Wyrmbane rogues are those dedicated to hunting down and eliminating wicked wyrms that threaten both their interests and those that surround them.
Lair Hunter
Having spent significant time prowling across plains and dunes, scaling mountain peaks and dense forests, you have a natural aptitude for overland journeys through dangerous terrain. When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in your choice of two from Vehicles (Land), Nature and Survival.
In addition, you learn how to speak, read, and write Draconic.
Scalebreaker
Starting at 3rd level, your trained eye for spotting weaknesses in the armoured hide of your foes allows you to overcome even the most fearsome of natural defences. Once per turn, before or after your attack or damage roll you can choose to turn your strike into a Scalebreaker attack.
Your attack roll gains a +1 bonus against creatures with natural armour, potentially turning a miss into a hit. This bonus increases to +2 at 7th level and +3 at 15th level.
On a hit, your attack also deals an extra 1d4 damage. This damage increases to 1d6 at 7th level, 1d8 at 11th level, 1d10 at 15th level, and 1d12 at 19th level.
Unwavering Venator
Starting at 9th level, even a dragon's mightest weapons falter against your determination and courage. You are immune to the frightened condition, such as that imposed by a dragon's frightful presence.
In addition, you learn the Absorb Elements spell, and can cast it a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Arrogance Brought Low
At 13th level, you learn techniques to bring down flying creatures, and to keep them from flying away. When you hit a flying creature with your armor piercing attack, it must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or descend 60 feet. Its descent is controlled enough to avoid falling damage. The DC for this saving throw is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier (your choice).
In addition, when you hit a creature with your Scalebreaker attack, you can choose to reduce the speed of the target by 10 feet until the start of your next turn.
Drake's Deliverance
Starting at 17th level, you can deliver a rapid succession of harrying strikes. You can choose to make any number of your weapon attacks into Scalebreaker attacks for the remainder of the round.
Once you use this feature, you must finish a long rest before you can use it again.
