Barista School

It didn't take long for you to find the one true thing that really matters in life; Coffee. As a Barista, you excel in making the perfect coffee to bolster yourself and others.

Morning Brew

Starting at 2nd level when you choose this school, you add spell Create Coffee to your known spells list. When drinking coffee you become caffeinated gaining an advantage against getting put to sleep, and on constitution saving throws for 8 hours. However, if you do not drink coffee within the first hour after waking up you gain 1 level of exhaustion. exhaustion gained through lack of coffee, can be removed by drinking coffee, but you do not gain any advantages if not drank within the first hour of waking up.

You cannot not gain more than 3 levels of exhaustion this way.

Coffee Break

Beginning at 6th level, you learn the spells Boiled to Perfection, Create Coffee Beans, and Sugar Packed. In Addition, while caffeinated you can double the amount of coffee produced with the Create Coffee spell.

Double Expresso

At 10th level, while Caffeinated, you can do 1 of the following per turn in exchange for 1 level of exhaustion:

• You can take a Dash action as a bonus action
• You can reduce incoming damage of an attack by 1d6 + your spell save modifier.
• You gain an advantage on a saving throw or ability check against being grappled or restrained.
• You can use your action twice.

At 3 or more levels of exhaustion you cannot use this feature until a long rest.

Triple Espresso

At 14th level, the temporary hit points any creature gains from your Create Coffee spell is doubled. Additionally, the effects of exhaustion when given from lack of coffee and your features is weakened:

1 - Your Proficiency bonus for all ability checks is halved
2 - your speed is decreased by 10ft (minimum 10ft)
3 - Your attack rolls do not apply your proficiency bonus.
