Base Class: Monk
Monks of this tradition cherish peace and have sworn to up-hold it. They do not rush easily into battle, preferring to first explore other options. Don’t be mistaken though, while pacifists these Monks are not weak. If forced to fight they powerful protectors of their allies and deal out swift retribution to those that disturbed the peace.
The Wise Pacifist
3rd level Way of Mercy Feature
Starting at 3rd level when you chose your monastic tradition you have grown wise through your years meditation and peaceful contemplation. You gain advantage on Wisdom ability checks.
Peaceful Protection
3rd-level Way of Mercy feature
An aura of peace and protection radiates out from you.
When you use patient defence or take the dodge action you and all allies within 30 feet of you gain advantage on saving throws.
Peaceful Punishment
3rd-level Way of Mercy feature
You are able to reach into the ki of those who chose violence and disregard peace, to reduce their ability to harm those around them.
When you hit with an unarmed attack or monk weapon you can spend +1 ki point to impose disadvantage on any attack roll or saving throw of your choice the creature makes before the end of your next turn.
Arbiter of Peace
6th-level Way of Peace feature
You can provide even greater protection to your allies and stricter punishments to your enemies.
Arbiter of Protection - When you use Peaceful Protection you can also end an effect on one of your allies causing them to be charmed, frightened or stunned.
Arbiter of Punishment - When you use Peaceful Punishment on a creature you can also force them to make a Wisdom saving throw, on a failed save they become frightened of you, till the end of your next turn.
Peaceful Defence
11th-level Way of Mercy feature
You have trained for many years in defensive arts. As such when taking a defensive stance you can channel your ki to provide additional protection to yourself and allies.
As a bonus action you can spend +1 ki point to increase your AC and the AC of up to 2 allies within 30 feet of you by a roll of your Martial Arts die + your Wisdom modifier.
This lasts till the end of your next turn.
Punisher of the Unruly
17th-level Way of Peace feature
You have become a supreme arbiter of peace and can mete out heavy punishments to those that chose to disregard it.
When you hit with an unarmed strike you can spend +5 ki points to deal out extra punishment to your enemy. The target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a successful save the creature takes 3d10 force damage. On a failed save the creature suffers 3d10 force damage and one of the following effects (depending on their current hit points):
50 HP or less - they become frightened
40 HP or less - they become frightened and stunned
30 HP or less - they are instantly killed
The imposed effects last till the end of your next turn. You can use this once per turn and only twice per long rest.
