The Monster

While you rage:

  • Add Intelligence bonus to rage bonus damage
  • Resistance to acid, lightning, poison, psychic, radiant and thunder damage
  • You can use a bonus action to go into a mindless rage. For the remainder of the rage you cannot lose the rage due to not attacking or taking damage, but you also lose the ability to speak and have disadvantage on Charisma, Intelligence and Wisdom saving throws. You can do so only once per rage and the effects end when the rage ends.

Always Angry

There is only rage. You have advantage against being charmed or frightened. When you are in a rage, you are immune. If you are already frightened of charmed when you rage it does continue, but going into a mindless rage removes all the existing charming and frightening effects.

Brute Think

You can use a rage to enhance your mental capacities instead. While brute thinking, you gain the following benefits:

  • You gain advantage on intelligence skill checks and saving throws and on wisdom skill checks.
  • When you use the help action or someone else helps you, you can add your rage bonus to the roll as well.
  • You can read and understand all languages as if under the effects of [Tooltip Not Found].
  • You are immune to the charmed and frightened conditions similar to normal rages.

Your brute think lasts for 10 minutes. It ends early if you make an attack or take damage. You can use a bonus action to end this effect early. You cannot use a regular rage and brute think at the same time, meaning that you have to end your brute think first before you enter your regular rage.

You can only use a rage in this way once and must finish a long rest before you can do so again.

Lose control

When you go into a mindless rage you can extend the duration of the rage to 10 minutes total. However, you lose the ability to end it early as a bonus action. Additionally, at the start of each turn after you made an attack since the start of your previous turn, but have no way to attack an enemy during your current turn, there is a chance to go berserk. Make a Wisdom saving throw DC 10 (at disadvantage because of the mindless rage). On a failure, use your movement to get to the nearest ally and make an attack against them. On a succes, you remain in control until you make an attack again or until the mindless rage ends.

You can extend your rage like this only once and must finish a long rest before you can do so again.

At 20th level, whenever you extend your rage like this, you can use your bonus action to dash or make a single grapple or shove attack.
