Shadow Weaving
3rd-level Progeny of Shadow feature
At 3rd level, you learn to weave shadows into tangible object or weapons. As an bonus action while in dim light or darkness, you may conjure a Woven Blade. This melee weapon has the Light and Finesse properties, and attacks made in magical darkness are considered critical. The Woven Blade counts as magical for resistance purposes and deals 1d6 necrotic damage. This damage increases at certain levels: at 9th level it increases to 1d8; at 13th, 1d10; and at 17th the damage increases to 2d6.
Additionally, you may weave other mundane objects out of the shadows as an action. The object can be no larger than a foot on a side, can weigh no more than 5lbs, and can have no moving parts. This includes Thieves' Tools.
Both the Woven Blade and any other conjured item, persist once they leave the dim light or darkness. They can be dispelled by you as a free action at any time; however, these objects can be dispelled by another creature with the Dispel Magic spell as if they were a spell that's level is equal to your proficiency bonus.
Dark Guile
3rd-level Progeny of Shadow feature
Also at 3rd level, the magic of the shadows creeps into your very essence. You gain resistance to necrotic damage. Additionally, you gain advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) ability checks while in dim light and you can see through magical darkness as if it were daylight as far as you can see.
Guise of Shadows
9th-level Progeny of Shadow feature
At 9th level, you may weave disguises out of threads of shadow. You learn the Disguise Self spell, and can cast it at will when you are in dim light or darkness.
Additionally, you may step from shadow to shadow. If you are in dim light or darkness, as a bonus action you may teleport up to 60 ft to a space that is also in dim light or darkness.
Shade of Protection
13th-level Progeny of Shadow feature
At 13th level, you learn to weave the shadows into protective armor. As an action, you may don Shade Armor for 10 minutes. While active, you gain the following benefits.
- Your AC becomes 20.
- You may use a bonus action to became invisible when in dim light or darkness. This invisibility ends early if you take the Attack or [Tooltip Not Found] actions.
- When you use your Uncanny Dodge ability, you take no damage instead of half damage.
Once you use this feature, you may not use it again until you finish a long rest.
Void of Light
17th-level Progeny of Shadow feature
At 17th level, you learn to absorb all light. You learn the Darkness spell and can cast it at will.
