Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

You have proven yourself worthy through show of physical prowess and feats of strength all with a burning desire to grow stronger. As a result, you have been granted power from the Archomentals of the elemental plane of fire. Warriors blessed with such might retain the aspect of powerful fire elementals and are able to call upon this power to enhance their abilities, imbuing their souls with a flame that can burn brighter than the lakes of Phlegethos. A Blazing Fury finds comfort and familiarity, as well as valor and bravery in the presence of flames. They will use the upmost of their capabilities to display their sheer brawn and intense passion for fire.

Salamander's Tongue

3rd-level Blazing Fury feature

You learn to speak, read, and write Ignan.

Inferno's Prowess

3rd-level Blazing Fury feature

Your skin toughens and hardens from the boiling heat within your body. While you are not wearing any armor or wielding a shield, your AC equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Constitution modifier.

As a bonus action or a reaction, you can create a quick burst of propelling fire from the soles of your feet, sending you in any direction 15 feet horizontally, vertically, or diagonally in a straight line. This extra distance does not cost any movement and can be used midair.

As an action, you can magically ignite a flammable object you touch with your hand.

Flames of Wrath

3rd-level Blazing Fury feature

You can temporarily awaken the latent inferno blazing within you. As a bonus action, you become an aspect of flame and gain the following benefits, which last for 1 minute:

  • You shed bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet.
  • You gain resistance to fire damage.
  • Your attacks deal fire damage and, along with any effect you create that deals fire damage, ignore resistance to fire damage.
  • Your movement speed increases by 10 feet.
  • When you activate Flames of Wrath, you can send a ray of fire towards a creature within 30 feet of you. That creature is branded, and your attacks deal an extra 1d6 fire damage to them. You can use a bonus action to relinquish the brand and target a different creature with it. This brand lasts until your Flames of Wrath ends. This damage increases to 1d8 at 7th level and 1d10 at 18th level.

You can use this feature twice, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.

Scorcher

7th-level Blazing Fury feature

When you activate your Flames of Wrath feature, you emit a fiery aura that sears the area within 10 feet of you. Each creature that starts its turn in this area takes fire damage equal to your proficiency modifier. When a creature enters the aura, you can choose to bend the flames around them, causing them to not take the damage. The aura ends when Flames of Wrath ends.

Improved Flames of Wrath Brand

7th-level Blazing Fury feature

The damage for your Flames of Wrath brand increases to 1d8.

Efreeti's Karmic Rage

10th-level Blazing Fury feature

As a bonus action, you can unleash an unbridled fury upon your enemies. Until the start of your next turn, your attacks have advantage and ignore immunity to fire damage. If a creature hits you with a melee attack while in this state, it takes 1d10 fire damage. Each attack that hits a creature places a scalding mark on them and can be applied multiple times to one creature. You can place a total amount of marks equal to your Strength modifier. On your next turn, you can use an action to cause all applied marks to violently explode, forcing each creature with at least one mark to make a Constitution saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or take 2d10 fire damage per mark and become dazed for 1 minute, which causes the creatures to lose their reaction. At the end of each of their turns, a target can make another Constitution saving throw to end the dazed effect. A creature who had all possible marks applied on them makes the save with disadvantage. On a successful save, the creatures take half damage and are not dazed.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest, or until you use Flames of Wrath.

Kindle the Flame

15th-level Blazing Fury feature

As a reaction when you take fire damage, you can absorb some of the flames and make them surge throughout your body to mitigate the damage. You still take the damage from the attack, but you regain an amount of hit points equal to 1d10 + your Constitution modifier afterwards.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Alternatively as a bonus action, you can expend any amount of uses for this ability and gain 5 temporary hit points per use.

Wreathed in Ire

18th-level Blazing Fury feature

You have gained the potential to unleash an immense, brazen power from within you, causing your body to relinquish its physical form and temporarily become pure fire. Your Flames of Wrath feature increases in power and gains the following bonuses on top of the normal benefits:

  • You gain immunity to fire damage, and resistance to poison damage.
  • Your attacks, along with any effect you create that deals fire damage, ignore immunity to fire damage.
  • Your movement speed increases by an extra 10 feet.
  • Your aura from the Scorcher feature increases by an extra 5 feet.
  • Your burst of fire from the Inferno's Prowess feature propels you an extra 15 feet.
  • You can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.
  • You gain two additional uses of Flames of Wrath per long rest.

Improved Flames of Wrath Brand

18th-level Blazing Fury feature

The damage for your Flames of Wrath brand increases to 1d10.
