Monk
Base Class: Monk

You follow the way of the Runes, a monastic tradition focused on the secrets held within certain words of power. Using your Ki, you can tap into these secrets and access their power. Monks of this tradition posses great knowledge and training, but often find themselves paying for their curiosity.

Student of the Runes

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learn the secrets of a number of runes that can grant you special powers. A rune requires you to spend a Ki point when you use it.

You learn two runes of your choice. You learn two additional runes of your choice when you reach 6th level. Whenever you learn a new rune, you can swap one rune that you already know with a different one.

If a rune asks for your spell save DC, your rune save DC is 8+ your proficiency modifier + your wisdom modifier
