Monk
Base Class: Monk

Inspired by natural phenomena like water ripples, the rumble of thunder and the mechanics behind string instruments, The Way of Ripples uses Ki to manipulate sound and vibrations to enhance the power behind the strikes of its students. Monks of this path are known to be quiet when needed and loud when they wish so, and even the gentlest follower of this path have devastated their enemies with the invisible power of vibrations.

Silent Thunder Punch

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can retain power normally lost as sound into your strikes by using Ki. Whenever you hit a creature with one of the attacks granted by your Flurry of Blows, you deal additional thunder damage equal to your Wisdom modifier.

Soundmaster

Also at the 3rd level, you gain the ability to unnervingly mimic the speech pattern and sounds of objects and other creatures that you have heard before. A successful Wisdom (Insight) check against a DC = 8 + your Wisdom modifier + your proficiency bonus reveals this to be mimicry if you are mimicking an animal or non-living object, and you add double your Wisdom modifier to the DC if mimicking the speech of a humanoid.

Trackless Step

At the 6th level, you gain the ability to mask your presence through a combination of Ki, footwork, and breathing techniques. As a bonus action, you can spend 2 ki points to make a Dexterity (Stealth) Check, and you add your Wisdom modifier to the check. You are considered hidden from other creatures if their Passive Wisdom (Perception) score is lower than the result of your Dexterity (Stealth) check, even if normally they can see you. Creatures that have the Keen Senses feature can make a Wisdom (Perception) check when you move within 10 feet of them. On a success, they know your location for the rest of their turn, and they can make another Wisdom (Perception) check at the start of their next turn to locate you again, so long as you are within 30 feet of them. If they fail the first check, they are unaware of your presence.

You lose this benefit if you interact with an object, make an attack, cast a spell, or force another creature to make a saving throw. You also lose it if you make a Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution skill check or saving throw or a Charisma skill check. However, you are also hidden from creatures with truesight, tremorsense, or blindsight while benefitting from this feature.

Finally, you gain tremorsense out to 20 feet.

Black Bird Fist

When you reach 11th level, you've mastered a technique that allows you to channel the energy of several strikes into one much more devastating, sound-enhanced punch. You gain the Booming Blade cantrip and can use it with an unarmed attack. Your spellcasting ability modifier for this spell is Wisdom. Additionally, you can shove a creature 5 feet away from you if you hit it with the spell. Spending a Ki point after casting the spell in this way also allows you to use Monk features that require you to make an unarmed attack.

Song of Power

At 17th level, you've mastered a powerful technique to cause massive damage to anything in your path with a booming voice. As an action, you can expend 2 ki points to release destructive force in a 30-foot cone in front of you. Each creature of your choice in the area must make a Constitution saving throw against your Ki save DC. On a fail, a creature takes 6d12 thunder damage, is deafened for 1 minute, and is stunned until the end of its next turn. On a success, a creature takes half as much damage and is only deafened for 1 minute.
