Posted Jan 7, 2023Now, obviously, I'm far too late to this idea but it just hit me, perhaps instead of being able to change all exaltations after a long rest, you can change your iron once after gaining your steel, change your steel once after gaining your mercury, and changing your mercury once after gaining your gold. Not only to keep players from changing their entire build every day in game, but still allowing the player to change something if they decide they aren't crazy about using it, or it isn't as applicable as they thought it might.
I think the best solution would just be trying to make every exaltation more equal in use in their tiers, and I also need to trim the repetition of steel chin and gold soul, because I highly doubt any DM wants to deal with a monk that is almost impossible to kill, but then again, wouldn't that be the entire point of taking those exaltations?
Idk I'm just spit-balling, for the few of you who have added this homebrew to your collection, if you've got any ideas I'd love to hear them.
