Base Class: Paladin
Paladins who take the Oath of Hooded Lady are sworn to serve the inscrutable ends of the goddess of magic and mysteries. This Oath calls to wanderers and vagrants who prefer to guide the course of history from the shadows; using half-truths, hidden-blades and their heightened connection to the weave of magic to achieve the goals of the Geas-Mother.
The air that surrounds these Paladins crackles with magical potency, as the weave around them constantly reshapes itself in accordance with the will of the Weaver. Allies of the Paladin will find their magical reserves are bolstered, while their enemies are left to feel the threads of weave slipping from their grasp.
TENETS OF THE HOODED LADY
The tenets of the Oath Hooded Lady vary from paladin to paladin, but all serve the inscrutable ends of the Goddess in their own way.
Never Have I Been Known By But One Name. Paladins of the Hooded Lady often go to great lengths to conceal their true nature and identity.
I Shall Speak No Truth And Tell no Lie. Paladins who follow this path do not lie, but the truth they tell and the one that their listener thinks they hear are seldom the same.
My Gift To You Will Be A Golden Noose. Those who bind themselves to this oath forge deals and bargains with allies and adversaries alike. While the terms of the deal may seem favorable at first, it almost inevitably transpires that the Paladin has gained much more than was given.

Channel Divinity
3rd-level Oath of the Hooded Lady feature
You gain the following Channel Divinity options. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how Channel Divinity works.
Geas-Mother's Gift. You can use your Channel Divinity to confound enemy spellcasters: channeling the will of the Beleaguerer and causing the weave of magic to slip through their failing fingers.
As an action, you can choose a number of creatures you can see within 30 feet of you equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one). For 1 minute, the chosen creatures must succeed on a Charisma saving throw against your Spell Save DC at the start each of their turns. On a successful save, the creature can act as normal. On a failed save, the creature cannot use its action, bonus action, reaction or any legendary actions that the creature may have to cast a spell until it succeeds on this save.
The creature may, however, use any other abilities it has (including any spell-like abilities) or any lair actions.
As the Weaver wills. You can use your Channel Divinity to reinvigorate your comrades and replenish their magical reserves. As an action, you utter a prayer to the Goddess and touch a creature. The creature immediately regains one expended spell slot, the level of which can be no higher than your proficiency bonus.
Aura of Magical Potency
7th-level Oath of the Hooded Lady feature
You emit an aura of potent magical energy while you aren’t incapacitated. You and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you have advantage on Constitution saving throws to maintain your concentration on a spell when taking damage.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Spell-Singer's Smite
15th-level Oath of the Hooded Lady feature
When you damage a creature with the Spellcasting ability with your Divine Smite, you can cause that create to make a Charisma saving throw against your Spell Save DC. On a failed save, the creature loses its lowest unexpended spell slot.
In addition, when you damage a creature that is concentrating on a spell, that creature has disadvantage on the saving throw it makes to maintain its concentration.
Scion of the Shrouded One
20th-level Oath of the Hooded Lady feature
You cloak yourself in the weave of magic, rendering yourself impervious to all but the most powerful spells. As a bonus action, you gain the following benefits for 1 minute:
- You gain resistance to damage from spells and magic weapons;
- You cannot be affected by spells of 3rd level or lower unless you wish to be; and
- You can cast the Dispel Magic Spell at third level at will.
Once you use this bonus action, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a 5th-level spell slot to use it again.
