Base Class: Fighter

A Blade Dancer is a agile and flair filled fighter using swift strike with light weapons to quickly weaken an opponent. They have a strong order who teach this trait and are hard to be seen outside of their order. The order is filled with many masters each with a differing Finesse weapon. It is common to train under one of these masters and use the same weapon they taught, only the truly most skilled and most devout to the craft learn under each master to gain their weapons proficiency and become a living legend of the Blade Dancers.

Blade Dance

Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, your dancing with death is improved, granting you the ability to Blade Dance. At the start of your turn you can expend a charge to enter a Blade Dance, while Blade Dancing you gain the following benefits:

  • Additional Movement Speed equal to 5 x Proficiency Modifier
  • Whenever targeted by an attack you can use a reaction to make the Attacker make a Wisdom saving throw against your Performance Check, on a failure the attack being missed due to your distractive behavior.
  • Whenever a creature that has you with in sight and your still Blade Dancing they have Disadvantage on Perception check

This effect lasts for 1 minute this has a limit of charges equal to your Charisma modifier (Minimum of 1) per long rest.

You also gain Expertise in Performance Skill

Fancy feet

Starting at 7th level, you can while blade dancing use a bonus action to move a number of feet equal to 1/4 your Fighter class level x 5.

Additionally you also can add your Proficiency bonus to your Initiative

Evasion

At 10th level, When you are subjected to an effect, such as a red dragon’s fiery breath or a lightning bolt spell, that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.

Dance of Blades

Starting at 15th level, when you start your blade dance you can use a bonus action and all creatures you choose once they are within 10ft of you At the start of your turn must make a dexterity saving throw of 8 + Proficiency bonus + Dexterity modifier, on fail they take 1d10 Slashing damage, 1d10 Piercing damage, and 2 times your charisma modifier amount of psychic damage. Half as much on a success. This effect lasts for 4 rounds. You can use this ability once per short or long rest

Master Blade Dancer

At 18th level, you attain the pinnacle of Elegance and Grace in battle, as you gain expertise in a Finesse weapon of your choice and you can add your Charisma modifier to your damage on melee attacks.
Additionally you can gain an additional 10 ft. of base movement speed
