Base Class: Bard
Perilous stunts and dazzling feats make up the daily lives of the acrobatic bards of the College of Balance, whose incredible flexibility and agility makes them surprisingly capable combatants. Using a strange and wholly original fighting style, these bards are masters at dodging and weaving through opponents, vexing and disorienting them with their acrobatic skills at the same time.
Adept Acrobat
Beginning when you choose this College at 3rd level, you’ve become a masterful acrobat. You gain proficiency in the Dexterity (Acrobatics) and Strength (Athletics) skills. Additionally, when you’re forced to make a Dexterity saving throw, you can choose to expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration feature, roll the die, and add it to the result.
Nimble Feint
Also at 3rd level, you’re an expert at drawing the attention of others. As an action, you can choose to make a Dexterity (Acrobatics) check contested by a creature’s Wisdom (Insight) check, which must be within 10 feet of you. If you succeed, you and all of your allies have advantage on attack rolls against the creature until the end of your next turn.
Contortionist
At 6th level, your agility and nimbleness make you difficult to hit and even harder to catch. You can take the Disengage and Dodge actions as a bonus action.
Disorienting Trick
At 14th level, you’ve mastered the art of confusing and befuddling your enemies with twirls, flips and spins. When a creature makes an attack roll against you, you can use your reaction to make a Dexterity (Acrobatics) check and substitute your AC with the result of the check against the triggering attack. If the attack still hits you, you can lower the damage you take by an amount equal to your Charisma modifier.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier per long rest.
