Base Class: Monk
Fist Of Flowing Water, Crushing Rock focuses on physical combat rather than enhancing it's techniques through Ki. As a result many of it's benefits cannot be used while the user is armed.
Superior Fists
When both hands are empty your Martial Arts die go up one level (D4 -> D6) for a maximum of a D12.
Counterstrike
When an opponent makes an attack against you. You can use your reaction to add a martial art die to your AC. If the attack misses you can make an unarmed strike against the opponent. You must be fully unarmed to gain this benefit.
Total Defense
As an action you can prepare to protect yourself from all harm. Spend a Ki point and until your next turn you can perform Counterstrike and Deflect Missles without using a reaction an unlimited number of times.
Improved Counterstrike
Your defence has grown to repel any attacks.
Counterstrike can be used on any attack that rolls against AC. If a melee attack is blocked with counterstrike you can, instead of attacking, choose to throw your opponent allowing you to take the shove action against them. If a ranged attack is blocked by counterstrike you can redirect the attack with a roll against anything within 10 feet of you.
You may also protect those within 5 feet of you with your counterstrike with disadvantage on your Martial Art die roll.
Combo
When you make a successful unarmed strike you can perform another with -2 to the attack roll. This can be done an unlimited number of times but the penalty stacks with every use and will not reset until you go a full turn without using a Combo.
