Base Class: Monk
A monk who practices the Way of Ash believes that every being has a fire burning within themselves and that it is through harnessing this fire that one achieves true power. They see ki as fuel for the fire; used to stoke the flames in order to ward off attackers or to grant oneself extra ferocity. Those who follow the order of ash believe that, through power, they can bring peace, be it from protecting others or from tyranny.

You gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill, and you gain proficiency with the smith's tools.
Ash Plume
3rd-level Way of Ash feature
As a bonus action, you can spend 1 ki point to crumble to ash and move up to your walking speed in any direction without provoking opportunity attacks. You count as gaseous in this stage and, as such, can squeeze through any size gap.
Immolate
3rd-level Way of Ash feature
When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can spend 1 ki point to enwreathe yourself in flames until the start of your next turn. You take fire damage equal to a roll of your martial die. While in this form, your unarmed strikes do additional fire damage bonus equal to your wisdom modifier. In addition, when within 5 feet of you that hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to force it to take fire damage equal to a roll of your martial die. You also shed bright light for 15 ft and dim light for 30 ft.
Improved Ash Plume
6th-level Way of Ash feature
As a reaction to an attack you can spend 3 ki points to use ash plume; you remain in this form until the start of your next turn. While in this form, attacks have disadvantage against you and you have resistance to all forms of damage. You can use this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest
Stoke the Flames
11th-level Way of Ash feature
You have harnessed the fire within. You are now immune to fire damage.
Aspect of The Ashen One
17th-level Way of Ash feature
Your mastery of life energy opens the door to the ultimate mercy. As an action, you can spend 5 ki points to release the inner flame within yourself. For a minute, you have a radius of smoldering ash and hellfire centered on you. All creatures of your choice are blinded when within this radius. In addition, when a creature enters this radius for the first time or ends their turn while within this radius they take fire damage equal to 3d12 + your wisdom modifier.
