College of Improv

The College of Improv invites all to experience the excitement of adding your own personality to each performance given. Their musical talents are often of the highest quality but their personalities are also often the most unique. 

A bard from the College of Improv uses their inspiring musical talents to add even more versatility to those around them. They inspire others to move a-rhythmically and use their abilities in ways unknown to be possible. 

A College of Improv bard is only limited by their imagination. 

Bonus Proficiencies

At 3rd level when you join the College of Improv you become a professional at thinking on your feet. You gain proficiency in INT saving throws and slight of hand checks.

Inprovised Inspiration

When you join the College of Improv at 3rd level you learn to change the patterns of your attacks to increase damage. You or an ally may choose to add your bardic inspiration dice roll to the amount of attack damage or spell damage.

Additionally, you learn to change your performance in the heat of the moment. You may use a reaction to grant one bardic inspiration die without subtracting from your existing pool. You must finish a long rest before using this ability again. The amount of time this ability can be used increases to 2 at 9th level and 3 at 17th level.

Not What You Expected

At 6th level, your bardic inspiration has taken on free flowing magic properties. When you or an ally use bardic inspiration for additional damage, you may choose to make that damage elemental and roll a d6 to choose the damage type from the elemental surge table. Damage done this way is considered magical.

Spur of the Moment

Starting at 14th level, you have gained the rhythmic timing for adding actions to performances. After taking an action you may choose to expend one bardic inspiration dice to immediately take a second action. You may only use this ability once per turn.
