Base Class: Barbarian
Some barbarians live for more than the fight – they live for interesting flavors and fresh new cuisines. Their desire to try new things drives them into a “hangry” fury, often tasting new monsters during battle in their desire to push the limits of their Epicurean appetites. Barbarians on the Path of the Endless Hunger draw on a bottomless well of fury at those with more bland palettes...those who would deny them access to the vast pantry that is the world's dungeons. Armed with powerful melee weapons and an empty pit of a stomach, they stride forth to show that anything can be food if you're just willing to take the first bite. Some say these barbarians are channeling the Far Realms influenced hunger of the black star Hadar, but these barbarians would just shrug and say, “I like to eat.
Just a Taste
Starting when you choose this path at 3 level, when you rage, you can unleash the ravenous appetite within you. Until the rage ends, your jaws distend to monstrous proportions, and you gain a natural weapon bite attack. Your bite counts as a simple melee weapon for you, doing 1d8 piercing damage on a hit, and you add your Strength modifier to the attack and damage rolls for it, as normal. Once on each of your turns when you damage a creature with this bite, you regain a number of hit points equal to your proficiency bonus, provided you have less than half your hit points when you hit.
Iron Stomach
Beginning at 6 level, your propensity for eating odd things has made it difficult for you to feel nausea or get affected by venomous creatures. You have advantage on savings throws to avoid becoming poisoned while raging, and you gain resistance to poison damage.
Eat Or Be Eaten
In the world of cuisine and rage, it's often survival of the hungriest. When something hits you with a Bite attack, you may use your reaction to immediately make a Bite attack against them. If you hit, you gain temporary hit points equal to the damage that you inflicted with your attack.
Terrifying Hunger
At 14h level, your hunger becomes something monstrous to behold. While you're raging, when you make a Bite attack, your target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your Strength bonus + your proficiency bonus) or become frightened.
