Base Class: Fighter

Silver Dragon Knights are soldiers who have augmented their powers with ritually prepared silver dragon's blood. Silver dragons are virtuous creatures who believe that one must serve to fully live life. They greatly desire to travel world and form friendships with other creatures. Silver dragons rarely ofter this power as they are afraid people will abuse it and harm others. They only grant this power to those who will live a moral life and help others. Those that gain this power often live by the following tenants.

Tenants of the Silver Dragon

1. Serve others and cause no undesrved harm.

2. Respect humanoids. There is a place in this world for all everyone.

3. Protect the innocent from harm and those that do evil.

Silver Dragon Knights can receive this power from other silver dragon knights. However, they generally only pass it down family lines. Any organizations or villages containing families of these knights are often small in population and size.

Spellcasting

When you reach 3rd level, the dragon's blood gives you the ability to cast spells. See Spells Rules for the general rules of spellcasting and the Spells Listing for the sorcerer spell list.

Cantrips

You learn two cantrips of your choice from the sorcerer spell list. You learn an additional sorcerer cantrip of your choice at 10th level.

Spell Slots

The Silver Dragon Knight Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your sorcerer spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.

For example, if you know the 1st-level spell shield and have a 1st-level and a 2nd-level spell slot available, you can cast shield using either slot.

Spells Known of 1st-Level and Higher

You know three 1st-level sorcerer spells of your choice.

The Spells Known column of the Silver Dragon Knight Spellcasting table shows when you learn more sorcerer spells of 1st level or higher.

Whenever you gain a level in this class, you can replace one of the sorcerer spells you know with another spell of your choice from the sorcerer spell list. The new spell must be of a level for which you have spell slots.

The Silver Dragon Knight gets the following spells added to their potential spell list: "bless, cure wounds, shield of faith, and zone of truth".

Chosen spells must come from the schools of abjuration and evocation. This restriction does not apply to the additional spells added to the spell list or to cantrips. However, the additional spells still count as a known spell if chosen. At levels 3, 7, 13, 17, and 20 a spell can be chosen or a previous spell replaced with one outside of the schools of abjuration and evocation.

Spellcasting Ability

Charisma is your spellcasting ability for your sorcerer spells. You use your Charisma whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Charisma modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a sorcerer spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.

Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier

Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier
