Bard
Base Class: Bard

This bard college steps away from traditional means of persuasion and taps into a more literal form of art, in the art of cooking. Bards of this college hone their craft into creating culinary masterpieces to awe and gain the favor of those around them. These bards also learn to imbue their creations with arcane power in order to grant powerful buffs to allies.

The Cook

When you begin the college of spice, you learn how to properly prepare and dress dishes. At 3rd level, you gain proficiency with cooking utensils and brewers supplies, and gain advantage on investigation checks for finding quality cooking ingredients and tools. In addition, during a short rest, you can recover a number of spell slots equal to half your bard level (rounded up) by performing mundane cooking tasks like chopping ingredients and preparing spice mixes . You can't recover spells slots higher than 4th level. In addition, any creature that expends hit dice when they are within 30 feet of you regains additional hit points equal to your bardic inspiration die plus your charisma modifier. You regain the use of this ability after a long rest.

Signature Meals

You use your knowledge of cooking and the arcane to imbue food with magical influence. You can prepare magical food to provide buffs to any creature that consumes. You can imbue food with the following benefits:

Hearty Meal: Your food fortifies those who consume it. Any creature that eats the food rolls a dice equal to your bardic inspiration die and gains the number rolled plus your charisma modifier in temporary hit points. at 8th level, you roll an additional die when you consume the food. At 14th level, you 2 additional die.

Tough Dish: Your meals can aid a creature's awareness, making it easier to avoid attacks. When a creature consumes food imbued with this benefit, the creature gains a +1 to their AC for 1 minute. At 10th level, the creature gains +2 to their AC for 1 minute. At 17th level, the creature gains +3 to their AC for 1 minute.

Spicy Entrée: The passion imbued in your food empowers those who eat it. When a creature consumes food imbued with this benefit, their movement speed increases by 20 feet for 1 minute. At 9th level, their speed increases by 40 feet for 1 minute. at 16th level, their speed increases by 60 feet for 1 minute.

Grueling Snack: This meal is... less then delicious, but prepares the body for other unpleasant substances. When a creature consumes food imbued with this benefit, they gain advantage on saving throws against being poisoned, stunned, paralyzed, petrified or rendered unconscious by poison or other physical effects (such as a creatures venom or effect from an attack) for 4 hours. at 10th level, this benefit applies to magical effects as well (such as a Hold Person spell or a beholders Petrification Ray).

You can prepare a number of imbued foods equal to your bard level before needing a long rest, after which any foods prepared at a previous time lose their magical properties.

Advanced Stews

Your expertise in the arcane arts allows you to fuse multiple incantations into the food you prepare. When you prepare your magical foods you can attempt to add an additional benefit, granting up to 2 bonuses in a meal. at 11th level, you can make an arcana check when preparing the food. if you succeed (determined by DM) the food is successfully fused with an additional benefit. Failing the check can result in a failure of fusion, or the food ruined beyond consumption, losing its magical properties in the process. In addition, you can now infuse food with a bardic inspiration die (no check required). This does not consume your bardic inspiration die. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your charisma modifier. Any food fused with multiple benefits takes an action to consume.

Champion's Cuisine

You can prepare an excellent feast that inspires courage in those that consume it. By spending 700 gp and 1 hour, you can prepare a meal for up to 8 people. any creature that spends 1 hour to feast from the meal gains 3d10 in temporary hit points, has advantage on wisdom saving throws, and can become resistant to one damage type that corresponds to a primary ingredient in the meal prepared (for example, resistance to fire damage would need a sufficiently hot meal) for 24 hours. The DM determines whether the meal can grant resistance to a damage type. At 17th level, you gain an additional d10 in temporary hit points, and  gain Immunity to one damage instead of resistance.
