Base Class: Monk
Inner Power
Starting at 3rd level choose one of the following damage types: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Poison, Acid, Psychic, Thunder, Necrotic, Force, Radiant.
You gain resistance to this damage type, and whenever you make an unarmed strike you can replace the damage with the chosen damage type from your inner power.
When you reach 11th level, you can choose a second damage type. When you reach 17th level you can choose a third damage type.
Inner Power Damage: Acid
Choosing this option gives you Resistance to Acid damage, and you can replace your unarmed strike or dedicated monk weapon damage to be acid.
Inner Power Damage: Cold
Choosing this option gives you Resistance to Cold damage, and you can replace your unarmed strike or dedicated monk weapon damage to be Cold.
Inner Power Damage: Fire
Choosing this option gives you Resistance to Fire damage, and you can replace your unarmed strike or dedicated monk weapon damage to be Fire.
Inner Power Damage: Force
Choosing this option gives you Resistance to Force damage, and you can replace your unarmed strike or dedicated monk weapon damage to be Force.
Inner Power Damage: Lightning
Choosing this option gives you Resistance to Lightning damage, and you can replace your unarmed strike or dedicated monk weapon damage to be Lightning.
Inner Power Damage: Necrotic
Choosing this option gives you Resistance to Necrotic damage, and you can replace your unarmed strike or dedicated monk weapon damage to be Necrotic.
Inner Power Damage: Poison
Choosing this option gives you Resistance to Poison damage, and you can replace your unarmed strike or dedicated monk weapon damage to be Poison.
Inner Power Damage: Psychic
Choosing this option gives you Resistance to Psychic damage, and you can replace your unarmed strike or dedicated monk weapon damage to be Psychic.
Inner Power Damage: Radiant
Choosing this option gives you Resistance to Radiant damage, and you can replace your unarmed strike or dedicated monk weapon damage to be Radiant.
Inner Power Damage: Thunder
Choosing this option gives you Resistance to Thunder damage, and you can replace your unarmed strike or dedicated monk weapon damage to be Thunder.
Inner Power Release
Starting at 3rd level, you can spend 2 ki to release your inner power. These effects remain until you are made unconscious. When you do, the following effects occur.
* Whenever you are hit with a melee attack, or a spell attack within 10 feet. The enemy that damaged you suffers [roll]2d6[/roll] of the chosen element associated with your inner power.
* Whenever you make melee attacks using an unarmed strike or a dedicated monk weapon. You deal 2d6 additional damage, of the associated type from your inner power.
Inner Power Exploitation
Starting at 6th level, when release your inner power. The following effects become available to you.
* Whenever you receive damage from an attack or spell that is the same damage type as your inner power. You can use a reaction to gain immunity to the damage type until the end of your next turn.
* Whenever you score a critical hit with an unarmed strike or dedicated monk weapon on an opponent, you can spend 2 ki. Doing so gives that creature Vulnerability to the damage type(s) associated with your inner power until the end of your next turn.
Inner Power Mastery
Starting at 11th level, your experiences using your inner power begin to peak.
The cost of your monk abilities is halved to a minimum of 1. In addition you gain the following benefits.
* Spending 2 ki during a short rest, you can share your resistance to your inner power damage type with another person. That person gains resistance to only 1 of the damage types.
* Whenever you release your inner power, you gain advantage against spells, attacks, and effects that deal damage associated to the damage type of your inner power. Additionally if the attack or effect says you take half damage on a successful saving throw. You instead take 0 damage.
Inner Power Perfection
Choose one of the damage types associated with your inner power selection.
* You gain permanent immunity to the damage type, and if a spell, ability or effect causes you to suffer a condition in associated to the damage type you chose. You are also immune to the effect. For example, Psychic damage from wrathful smite, and the frightened condition from the spell.
Additionally you unlock the ultimate channeling of your inner power. As an action on your turn you can perform the following.
* As an action, you can spend 5 ki. Doing so allows you to release a burst of elemental power in a 30ft radius centered on yourself. Each creature of your choice in that area must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failure each chosen creature suffers [roll]10d10[/roll] of one of the elements from your inner power. On a successful save they take half damage.
* As an action you can empower your unarmed strikes to gain an extended reach. The reach of the attacks is equal to 5 x Dex modifier. When a creature is hit by one of these attacks, you can use your monk abilities such as stunning strike, as part of the attack.
