Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Somehow you have not only survived an encounter with an ancient dragon, but you have been granted some of its power.  Perhaps you promised servitude in exchange for your life, proposed a deal that the dragon couldn’t refuse, or offered to obtain a priceless artifact for the dragon’s hoard.  No matter what the circumstances, you are now a conduit of draconic power.

Expanded Spell List

This subclass lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell.  The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you:

Spell Level      Spells

1                    Absorb Elements, Cause Fear

2                   Dragon’s Breath, Locate Object

3                    Glyph of Warding, Incite Greed

4                    Fire Shield, Guardian of Faith

5                    Animate Objects, Dominate Person

Draconic Blessing

At 1st level, choose (or work with your DM to determine) the color of your dragon patron.  You have resistance to the type of damage associated with your patron’s color.  Also, you can speak, read, and write Draconic.

Draconic Envoy

Starting at 6th level, you gain limited access to your patron’s hoard and are expected to add to it.  As a bonus action, you can regain an expended spell slot by paying a number of gold pieces equal to 10 times the spell slot’s level.  You can also conjure gold from the hoard—by expending a spell slot as a bonus action, you gain a number of gold pieces equal to 5 times the spell slot’s level.  A spell slot expended in this way is not regained until you finish a long rest.

Produce Items

At 10th level, you can access certain items from your patron’s hoard.  When you finish a long rest, you can summon one or more items from the list below, or swap any number of them for others.  You can also swap items when you finish a short rest.  The maximum number of items that can be summoned with this feature equals your Charisma modifier.  You can also add any magic items you find to the hoard—when you do so, those items are added to the list below, and can be accessed with this feature.  Also, you gain temporary spell slots based on the rarity of the item added to the hoard, as shown below.  These spell slots last until you expend them and once expended, they are not regained.

Starting at 14th level, the items listed below are added to those you can access from your patron’s hoard.  Also, the maximum number of items that you can draw from the hoard is doubled.  You can also conjure a great number of items from the hoard in extreme circumstances—for example, enough mundane weapons, armor, and equipment to outfit a fighting force of 2,500 soldiers, an amount of gold sufficient to finance the construction of a castle or town, or to purchase enough food to get a city through a harsh winter.  However, dragons are reluctant to part with such a large part of their hoard—you can use this feature in this way only once.
