Base Class: Sorcerer
Through some event in your bloodline's past, a strange force became connected to it. Be it some nightmarish entity from the Far Realm or perhaps somewhere even further beyond, has found itself intertwined with you. With its insatiable hunger now pulsing through you and shaping your bodily functions to suit its own curious tastes.
Nightmarish Metabolism
Through the endless void that now resides within you, you can now consume near anything and gain sustenance from it.
On your turn, as a bonus action you can choose to eat an object with this ability. When you do so, you gain 1d4+your constitution modifier in temporary hit points.
If the object is worth 10 or more gold, you also regain a sorcery point.
The temporary hit points gained through this ability increase by 1d4 at levels 6, 14, and 18. To 2d4, 3d4, and 4d4 respectively.
In addition to this, you also gain access to the Thaumaturgy cantrip.
Arcane Aftertaste
Your hunger has become stronger allowing you to absorb the arcane energies found in magical items, as well as the knowledge found in spell books.
As an action, you can try to eat a magical item or wizard's spell book.
Roll 1d20+your constitution modifier and proficiency bonus against your constitution stat.
Upon success you gain an effect based on the magical item consumed. As an example, say you ate a Wand of Magic Missiles, the dm might allow you to add magic missile to your spell list or to cast it a certain amount of times per day.
If you eat a spell book with this and succeed, roll a die with sides equal to half the number of the spells in the book, the dm adds that many spells from the book to your spell list. (The spells are the dm's choice.)
For every time this ability is used past the first in a day, gain a level of Exhaustion.
Countered Cravings
Upon gaining this feature, you learn Counterspell and Dispel Magic if you didn't already know them.
When you successfully counter a spell with Counter Spell, or dispel an effect with Dispel Magic, its energies are temporarily stored within you.
As an action you can cast the last spell you countered at the level it was cast at, or pass the dispelled effect onto a new creature or object through touch.
A spell or effect stored this way, lasts until a Long Rest, Upon counter or dispelling a new effect, or being knocked unconscious.
Unending Unity
When consuming an item through Nightmarish Metabolism or Arcane Aftertaste, its materials are now added to your body.
Upon consuming an object, decide on a part of your body to add its mass to.
Using this you can create body parts you may have not had before such as wings, extra arms, tails, etc.
Also, Arcane Aftertaste no longer causes exhaustion upon being used more than once per long rest.
