Path of the Inner Storm

Only those who show incredible resilience and commitment are able to unlock this power. For some, it's achieved through training and weathering storm after storm at the peak of a mountain. Perhaps standing atop a rod in a barren field, offering the body to many lightning strikes. This process changes the soul of these barbarians, their rage sparking off of their skin, lightning flashing in their eyes.

Storm's Favored

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, the lightning in your blood starts to leak from your body when you rage. While raging your speed increases by 10 ft increased to 20 ft at 8th level, 30 ft at 16th level, and 40 ft at 19th level. While raging you gain the ability to choose to add your movement to a reaction that you take.

Thunder Soul

At 6th level, the storm churning in your soul starts to take over. You gain resistance to lightning and thunder damage. Your booming voice gives you advantage on intimidation checks. Any creature intimidated by you becomes frightened until the end of your next turn.

Unrelenting Storm

Beginning at 10th level, the storm churning in your soul strips your body of its limitations. While raging, your attacks create shockwaves that batter enemies to the ground. When you hit a creature while raging, they must make a strength saving throw. On a failed save they are knocked prone, on a success they are pushed back 5 ft.

Storm's Manifestation

At 14th level, your inner storm begins to extend to the weapons that you carry. You can attack three times, instead of twice, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. You can choose between physical and lightning damage for these attacks.
