Bard
Base Class: Bard

You have gained mastery over you musical instrument and have found innovative ways to use it both inside and outside of combat.

Musical weapons

You have adapted your instrument to function as a weapon, perfect for dealing with both bar fights and monsters. You can make a melee weapon attack with your instrument, dealing 1d6 bludgeoning damage + your charisma modifier. This damage increases to 1d8 at 6th level and 1d10 at 14th level. You use your charisma modifier for attack and damage rolls and you are proficient with this weapon.

Magical Performance

As an action, you expend one use of your bardic inspiration and play a song. The magical powers of the song grant you and your allies the following benefits for 1 minute, or longer if you take this action again. You must concentrate on this ability as if it were a spell.

You and your allies movement speed increases by 5 ft
Your allies can take a bonus action to make a single weapon attack, provided they have not made any other attacks in their turn.
Your allies gain a +1 to dexterity saving throws.

You must use a bonus action on subsequent turns to maintain this ability, though you do not need to expend any more uses of bardic inspiration until the duration is over.

Bigger Speakers

Once per long rest you can use a free action to expend one use of bardic inspiration and overcharge your song. Until the start of your next turn the following effects occur.

The bonus movement from your Magical Performance becomes 10 ft.
Your allies can use a bonus action to make a single weapon attack, even if they have made a weapon attack earlier in their turn.
The bonus to dexterity saving throws increases to +2.
Your Magical Performance now costs a bonus action to maintain. This lasts for a number of rounds equal to your charisma modifier.

Defining Cacophony

As an action you strike a painful chord on your instrument. You must be concentrating on your Magical Performance to use this ability. When you activate this ability each creature within 30 ft of you takes physic damage equal to twice your bard level. For the rest of your performance the following effects occur.

You and your allies gain a bonus to attack rolls equal to half your charisma modifier.
You can use your reaction to make a single melee weapon attack, or to cast a spell with a casting time of one bonus action.

You can use this ability once per long rest
