Vanguard

Vanguards lead the way. The front line fighters stand between the enemy and their allies, using shouts and taunts to put the focus on themselves. These fighters charge through the masses and hold their position like a stone wall, inspiring those around them, and striking fear in their opponents. The more their enemy's attention is on the vanguard, the stronger they fight. If their allies are attacked, the vanguard strikes back. Whether the job is pushing through the front lines, or protecting high ranking officials, it is always safer to have a vanguard on your side.

Agro Pull

Level 3 Vanguard Feature

Vanguards want the attention on them. The vanguard uses shouts and taunts to embolden themselves and enrage their enemies. As a bonus action, you attempt to pull the agro towards you. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest 

A number of creatures, that can see or hear you, equal to your proficiency bonus within 30 feet must make a Wisdom save vs 8+your proficiency+your Con modifier, or be taunted on a fail. A creature who fails their save is taunted for 1 minute, and may repeat the save at the end of each of their turns.

Your amor class increases and you receive temporary hit points equal to the number of people taunted.

A taunted creature must use their movement to move closer to you and take the attack action on their turn. A taunted creature has disadvantage on all attacks and can only attack you.

Hard to Hit

Level 7 Vanguard Feature

You can use the dodge and disengage as a bonus action.

Retribution

Level 10 Vanguard Feature

Once per round, if you or an ally within 5 feet of you is attacked, you can use your reaction to make a single attack against the attacking creature. If your attack hits, you keep your reaction. you can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier.

Emboldened Strikes

Level 15 Vanguard Feature

When attacking a taunted creature, you and and anyone who attacks the creature, adds your proficiency bonus to the damage. You have advantage on attacking a taunted creature.

Fortress

Level 18 Vanguard Feature

You can occupy the same space as an ally. When doing so, if your ally is targeted by an attack, you can instead choose to have the attack target you. If the attack hits, you take half damage. You can chose to be the target a number of times equal to your Con modifier.
