Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

The Nightblade, as the name implies, is a blade master. They prefer to strike at night, from ambush, to get the drop on their foe. Nightblades are not known to stay in a fight for long, preferring to strike fast and then get out.

On a successful Stealth check, you may Hide in Dim light as well as in Darkness.

When you take your Attack Action on the first round of combat you may make a second Attack. This second Attack must be made with a thrown weapon.

You gain the Thrown Weapon Fighting Style.

You receive +5 to your Initiative roll if you begin the combat Hidden.

Your Movement is increased by 10' for the first turn of the combat.

Death Strike

Starting at 17th level, you become a master of instant death. When you attack and hit a creature that is surprised, it must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, double the damage of your attack against the creature. Note that this is in addition to the damage increase for making a Critical Hit if the target is surprised.
