Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

As a Paladin of the Order, you pledge yourself to the preservation and restoration of life under the sign of the Phoenix. With burning passion you show the people the glory in fire and that destruction does not necessarily mean the end but also resurrection.

Paladins of the Oath of Pheonix strive to rise to a grand destiny or purpose, and then seek to retire unto tending the embers of future flames to rise.

Tenets

Burn Brightly: Do not shy away from your true self, your destiny, your purpose.

Fly Freely: Beholden only the flame that burns within, you are bound to no master and value freedom deeply.

Preserve the Embers: Those who awaken to this Oath are rare, and those walk it steadfast even fewer. The youngest flames must be protected, taught, and guided.

Purifying Fire: The blessing of flame is given to cleanse the realm of curses, to be risen anew from the ashes, purified.

Creation in Ruin: Flames of the Phoenix bring both great ruin, and beautiful creation. Understanding the relationship and balance between the two is fundamental.

Aura of Rising Dawn

7th- and 18th-level Oath of the Phoenix feature

while you are conscious, any creature you choose within 10 feet of you is resistant to fire damage. When you or an ally is reduced to zero hit points while within your aura you can use your reaction to reduce them instead to 1 hit point. A creature must long rest before benefitting from this feature again. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (Minimum of 1), recharging on a long rest.

At level 18 this aura increases it’s radius to 30 feet.

Promethean Soul

15th-level Oath of the Phoenix feature

Creatures do not benefit from resistance or immunity to the fire or radiant damage of your attacks and spells. Additionally you no longer suffer the drawbacks of old age and cannot be magically aged.

Phoenix Feathers

20th-level Oath of the Phoenix feature

Phoenix Feathers: As a bonus action, you sprout wings of blazing fire. These wings give you the following benfits:

-  you shed bright light for a radius of 20ft and dim light for another 20ft and  you have a flyingspeed of 60ft.

- whenever an enemy creature damages you while within the bright light they take 5 points of fire or radiant damage.

- as a bonus action  you may rain Phoenix Feathers upon a creature of your choice within 30ft radius, allowing you to give them advantage on their next attack roll, saving throw, or ability check. In addition, when using the Featherfall, you may expend Lay on Hands as if you were touching them, doing so you lose hit points for the halfamount of healing.

These wings last for 1 hour as long as you don’t use the Featherfall or 10 minutes as you do so, it recharges upon finishing a long rest.
