(Way of the closed hand/way of the pugilist)

This class is basically treated like the monk is a boxer, you forgo the use of any weapon to focus entirely on the use of the fist. Focusing on utilizing “Styles” to change the way you fight to capitalize on certain bonuses.

This class is basically treated like the monk is a boxer, you forgo the use of any weapon to focus entirely on the use of the fist.

with this sub class you will gain abilities on 3rd, 6th, 11th, and 17th level.

 

 

3rd level-(Styles)

As an action they can change to a particular ‘style’ of Fighting, they do not gain the bonuses of the other styles unless they use an action to switch:

Slugger style-

Swarmer style-

Out-boxer style-

 

Slugger: You have advantage on all physical attack roles while using this style however physical attack roles against you have advantage until your next turn. (This also applies to magical weapons. However magic spells and long-range attacks do not)

 

Swarmer: The amount of attacks per turn you have is doubled. Your attacks cannot have advantage or disadvantage while using the style.

 

Out-Boxer: all physical attacks against you have disadvantage, and your attack range increases by 5 feet.

 

3rd level-(Side step)

If an opponents attack roll matches your AC The attack is considered a miss and you can more back 5-feet

 

6th level-(intense training)

All attack damage is doubled.

 

11th level-(indomitable spirit)

Once per long rest when your HP reaches 0, Roll a D6

Odds-You remain unconscious and begin rolling Death Saves with 1 successful save.

Evens-you are back on your feet and ready to fight with half of your HP restored

 

17th level- (flowing style)

You can switch Styles as a bonus action.
