The buccaneer never plays fair especially in a sword fight using not only steal to take down their opponents but with powder as well. Softening up targets with well placed pistol shots and finishing them off with a quick clean cut is the calling card of the buccaneer. 

Blade and Powder

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, gain a small flintlock pistol which can be used on a bonus action dealing 1d6 damage. When you hit an attack with a melee weapon your pistol is reloaded. The pistol can also be reloaded as a bonus action instead of an action.

Soften em' up

Starting at 3rd level, your confidence propels you into battle. You can give yourself a bonus to your initiative rolls equal to your Charisma modifier.

You also gain an additional way to use your Sneak Attack; you don’t need advantage on the attack roll to use your Sneak Attack against a creature if you hit the target with your flintolock shot you can apply your sneak attack damage as long as you dont have disadvantage on the attack. All other rules for sneak attack apply.

Rolling Broadside

At 9th level, you can use every firearm on your body to unleash a torrent of shots at a target. For every shot role to hit adding your to-hit modifier and on hit deal 1d8 damage for each shot and adding your damage modifier. You can use this feature up to two times a day but requires an action to reload the pistols before using this feature again.

Opening Shot

Starting at 13th level, when you hit a target with your flintlock they lose AC equal to your dexterity modifier for the next attack against them.

Ricochet Rounds

Beginning at 17th level, lady luck is on your side when you fire your pistol and miss you can roll a d20 and on a 17 or higher the shot ricochets back and hits. This shot only deals 1d4 damage instead of the 1d6 normally.
