Legends tell of warriors from the north who harbor a storm within them.Their fists resonating with furious lightning and striking with unyielding strength. Those who dedicate themselves to this tradition, have learned to tap into the power of the great thunder god Thor.

Fury of the Storm

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learn to channel lightning into your unarmed strikes. Your unarmed strikes now deal extra lightning damage equal to your martial arts die whenever you hit an enemy with one of the attacks granted by your flurry of blows. 

Fist of Mjolnir

At 6th level, you gain the ability to strike with the might of Mjolnir. Whenever you take the attack action on your turn, you can spend 1 Ki point to cast the thunderous smite spell in the form of an unarmed strike. 

Might of the Storm

At 11th level, your might is infused with the power of the gods. Your strength score increases by 2 to a maximum of 22. As an added bonus, whenever you hit an enemy with an attack provided by your flurry of blows the lightning damage now arcs to another enemy within 5 feet of the target and deals an additional martial arts die of damage.

Wrath of the Storm

At 17th level, whenever you make an unarmed strike, you can use a bonus action to spend 6 Ki points to cast the chain lightning spell. You can spend 1 additional Ki point to increase the level of the spell.
