Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

Snipers believe that patience, preparation, and strategy are key to every successful operation. They arrive into battle with a plan: stack the odds in their favor and leave fair fights for the suckers. You have honed your aim from superb to unsurpassed, allowing you to kill the enemy without being noticed, from dozens and dozens of feet away.

Some snipers learn their trade as soldiers in military outfits, while others master their craft as marksmen for underworld organizations, or as simple huntsmen obtaining their food on the outskirts of the land.

Whatever is the case, you are gifted at ranged combat, picking out an enemy's weak point and attacking from a distance with deadly accuracy and power.

Tools of Trade and Bonus Proficiencies

Starting at 3rd level, you gain the neccesary skills to become a sniper. You gain proficiency with Firearms, Heavy Crossbows and Longbows.

In addition, you gain proficiency with the Perception and Stealth skills if you don't have them already.

Honed Aim

Also at 3rd level, you have trained with your sniper skills to become deadlier in the battlefield. You gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls you make with ranged weapons.

In addition, you can use a ranged weapon's long range without imposing disadvantage. If you have the sharpshooter feat, or gain it later, the original benefit is replaced with doubling the weapon's range.

Finally, whenever you are 100 feet or more away from a creature, you can use your Sneak Attack against that creature even if you don't have advantage on the attack roll, but not if you have disadvantage on it.

Low Profile

Starting at 9th level, your ranged weapon attacks with weapons you are proficient with do not suffer disadvantage while you or the target of the attack are prone. You also have half cover against all ranged attacks while you are prone and standing only costs you no extra movement.

Reposition

Starting at 13th level, you have learned how important it is to quickly reposition while in combat. Whenever you use your Cunning Action to Dash, you may also take the Hide action as part of that same bonus action, and difficult terrain does not cost you extra movement while doing so.

Make it Count

When you reach 17th level, whenever you make a ranged attack while you are hiding or an attack that benefits from your Sneak Attack, you may reroll any number of Sneak Attack dice once on that turn.

Additionally, whenever you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you may immediatly make another attack against a different creature within range (requires no action). This second attack benefits from your Sneak Attack, even if you have used it already this turn.
