when creature born of bones is created they inhabit their old body however the rotting speed of their body is sped up 100 fold and becomes a skeleton after 1 day. if a creature born of bones dies they become a revenant unless they have been reborn for more than 1 year then they pass on to the after life. they are different to revenants as if they finish their business they don't crumble to ash and instead must perform a special ritual to peacefully pass on to the after life unless they die then their soul is lost forever.

destabilized magic

when you fall apart you may use your turn to attempt to put yourself back together roll a DC 13 Wisdom (medicine) check on a fail the magic sustaining you starts to fade and on 3 failures you are unconscious and start rolling death saving throws. if you are critical hit you instantly go unconscious and on a hit you gain 1 fail.  after going unconscious you roll death saves as normal.

other creatures can attempt to make the check an a successful check you gain 2 successes on a failure you gain 1 failure

on a natural 1 you instantly go unconscious and on a natural 20 you come back together at one hit point with all your actions and abilities as they where before.

 

skeleton lineage

at 6th level choose a race for the skeleton you inhabit you may do this at level 1 however this level is when you gain benefits 

elvish: you can cast misty step once per day without expending a spell slot 

Dwarvish: you gain resistance to poison you are also immune to the poisoned condition 

human: you gain resistance to non magical bludgeoning, piecing and slashing damage 

orcish: once per short/long rest you can while in the disassembled state immediately reassemble

goblin: you can gain expertise in stealth and sleight of hand

 

 

dwarvish

you gain resistance to poison and cannot be poisoned 

elvish

you may cast misty step once per day without expending a spell slot

goblin

you gain expertise in sleight of hand, and stealth.

human

you gain resistance to non magical bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage 

orcish

when disassembled you can immediately reassemble once per short/long rest you however will still be prone

body snatcher

at 14th level you can choose another skeleton of a creature that has been dead for more than 1 year that you can inhabit you instantly change the lineage to the body of said creature, you may only do this once per 1d4 long rests 

master of being dissasembled

at 18th level while disassembled if you succeed the medicine check to put yourself together you instantly rise up with one health regardless of the amount of saves you have left

as well as an action you may gain immunity to necrotic damage for 10 minutes this feature can only be used once per long rest
