Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

A Rikishi is a paragon of strength and discipline, and "barbarian" is a bit of a misnomer. Outside of the fight you are a model citizen, but when you enter your battle focus (rage) you are a master of close quarters unarmed combat.

Kimarite

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, when you enter your battle focus your unarmed strikes deal 1d6 plus your strength modifier. When you take the attack action and at least one attack is a Harite attack you may make another Harite attack as a bonus action.

Additionally At 3rd level the rikishi has the rank of Komusubi, the rikishi gains the following benefits.

  • You have advantage on Attack rolls against a creature you are Grappling.
  • You can use your action to try to pin a creature Grappled by you. To do so, make another grapple check. If you succeed, you are knocked prone and the creature is  Restrained until the grapple ends. Successfully pinning a creature deals damage equal to your Harite attack.
  • You become proficient in athletics, if you are already proficient in athletics you gain expertise in athletics.

Sekiwake Kimarite

At level 6 the rikishi has reached the rank of Sekiwake and your Kimarite have improved.
- The Rikishi has advantage on grapple attacks against creatures their size or smaller.
- The Rikishi may use a free action to make an unarmed strike attack against a creature you are grappling whenever it attempts to break free from the grapple.
- The Rikishi can now make Nagete, or throwing, attacks.

Nagete Attack

You can attempt to throw a creature you are grappling. To do so you must make an additional grapple check, if you succeed you may throw your grappled opponent into any number of creatures within melee range. The thrown creature is knocked prone and the throw counts as an unarmed strike. The creatures within range of the throw must make a dexterity saving throw or be struck by the thrown creature, dealing same damage dealt to the thrown creature, and knocking them prone.

When a rikishi is grappling an opponent you can make another grapple check, if you succeed you may throw his grappled opponent into any number of creatures within melee range, this counts as an unarmored strike against each of the creatures, and each creature must make a strength saving throw or be knocked prone (the thrown creature does not make a saving throw, they already failed the grapple)

Ozeki Kimarite

Starting at level 10 your Nagete has improved and you can increase your size.

Improved Nagete

When you make a Nagete Attack you can choose to throw your opponent at one other creature within 30 ft instead of all the creatures within melee range. To do so make a grapple check against a creature you are grappling, if you succeed you may make a ranged unarmed strike against one creature within 30 ft. On a successful hit, both of the creatures take your unarmed strike damage and are knocked prone. If you miss, then only the thrown creature takes damage and is knocked prone.

Ozeki Idai

An Ozeki is larger than life, having reached the rank of Ozeki, you can use a bonus action cast Enlarge (but not reduce) on yourself. You may do this a number of times equal to you Strength modifier per long rest.

Doing this allows you to grapple creatures one size larger than you would be able to without the spell

Yokozuna Kimarite

Starting at Level 14:
- Your armor class increases by 1

- You can attempt to make a grapple check with disadvantage against a creature two sizes larger than you

- You may grapple up to three different creatures simultaneously.

- You may make a Shikaijishin attack or cast Hallow as a ritual spell by throwing a handful of salt on an area once per day.

Shikaijishin (Earth Tremor Leg Slam)
Once per day you can lift one leg up high and slam it back into the ground to cast Earth Tremor at 4th level, with an extended range of 20 ft.
