Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

The Path of the Protector’s Rage- Calm and Composed
Rage for Barbarians that follow The Path of the Protector isn’t as wild and
unhinged as is the case for other Barbarian archetypes. For Protectors, their
rage manifests in the heightened spatial awareness and mobility needed to
safeguard their teammates in the heat of battle. It’s a controlled
selflessness that is characterized by stark stoicism and contemplative
silence, or an inflated positivity that inspires confidence in those around
them.

Rally Horn

Starting when you choose this subclass at 3rd level, your
rage reinvigorates those who fight alongside you. On your
turn, when you use your bonus action to enter a rage you
blow your battle horn which bolsters the resolve of your
allies.
When you do so choose a number of creatures within 60
feet of you that are friendly to you and can hear your horn. Each
creature you choose gains a number of temporary hit points
equal to half your Barbarian level plus your proficiency
bonus. These temporary hit points last until the end of your
rage.

Stalwart Sentinel

Starting at 3rd level, your battlefield vigilance allows you to
leap to the aid of your allies, enduring the brunt of an injury
on their behalf.
When an adjacent creature that is friendly to you is
targeted by an attack, you may use your reaction to grant
that ally a bonus to their AC for that attack

AC bonus = (half your Dexterity modifier +
your proficiency modifier).

If the attack misses the original target as a result of this
bonus, the attack is redirected to you. If the original attack
roll would hit your armor class, you suffer the damage and
any other effects of the attack. You are resistant to damage
taken as a result of this feature.

Guardian Instincts

Beginning at 6th level, you can add your proficiency bonus
to your initiative rolls. Additionally, you can carry, push and
drag friendly creatures that are your size or smaller at no
additional movement cost to you.

Imminent Threat

When you use your reckless Attack feature on your turn, all attacks made by hostile creatures that you are in melee range of against creatures other than you are made with disadvantage.

Valiant Rescue

As long as you are raging, when an ally that is up to half
your movement speed away from you is targeted by an
attack, you can use your reaction to move up to half your
movement speed (rounded up) towards that creature and
activate your Stalwart Sentinel feature to protect that ally.

For every attack of opportunity triggered by this
movement roll 1d6. The creature protected by your Stalwart
Sentinel feature gains a number of temporary hit points up
to the total of the die rolls.
