I don't like that you can't make it private for just the DM to see. 

Is there a way to adjust the sidebar so that it doesn't cover any of the information on the character sheets? With this game log addition, it would be handy to have this locked on the side without covering any info or boxes to click in order to use the dice roll mechanics?

I like this, but if they are going to sell fancy digital dice... it'd be nice if there were a setting to allow other players dice to 'rolled' across the screen...just like your own dice.   A huge part of the 'dnd' experience is the dice rolling....I could imagine folks finding this annoying -- but it could easily be a setting on the side.. "show only my rolls", or "show all public rolls"....

And eventually, maybe some shake-to-roll for mobile. Or even some AR, where you shake your device and view the rolls on your table and others can watch your rolls in AR on their own table as well.

 I'm not sure you're using AR in its original meaning there, but besides that I would prefer if instead of spending a lot of work on small tricks like this that would be "fun to use" for some people, the team would actually put on an optional light UI theme, that would solve a critical usability issue for some people like me.

 Augmented Reality is what I meant. It's gimmicky, sure, but it can be done and it could be fun too -- especially if it was a kind of synched version. Cumbersome to use in a several-hours-long session too...you know, it's probably well more work than it's worth. but it could be fun too. And yeah, I didn't mean to suggest any of that as an important thing. Just another fun thing they could do with the dice at some point.

 Honestly? I don't think it's a good idea for an app where the main focus should be to show and edit your character sheet to instead be a glorified camera app that shows random dice rolling on your table...

hi im new to this

How do you roll dice for a companion? I've added my companion in the extras tab, and I can see their entire sheet, but nothing is clickable. Everyone in my party has companions, beast forms, steel defenders, etc. We all need to roll our buddies. Plz help!!
