This tool is amazing so far. I have not noticed any bugs yet, however the mobile site it a little harder to use with the "expand for more info" features. There is a lot of scrolling, however this is an extremely minor issue. My question is, once this launches, wont this hurt your book sales? I am a firm believer in that if someone creates something I enjoy, and they sell it, I should not get it for free, it is not fair to the creator. D&D Beyond has pretty much anything you need to run a game.
Since this is basically being commissioned by WotC, I assume they're willing to take whatever hit to book sales they'll get. If you want to join the discussion on pricing, check this thread out. Right now it's bare bones, but I'm looking forward to how it develops. :)
I don't think it would hurt book sales for WotC since most of the tools advertised (character sheets/generators, encounter generators and compendiums) already exist and are well made (apps like the Fight Club ones that make my DM life so much easier, Donjon and Kobold Fight Club and the MPMB Character Sheet sold at DMguild)and WotC still sell books, addons for roll20.net and fantasy ground.
I think it will have a boon to WotC sales, since they will put all the aforementioned tools in the same app.

I agree, having an online community will boost sales.
