There is an advanced filter dropdown on the spells that has 3 buttons for V = Verbal, S = Somatic, M = Material that you can select to filter on.
At the moment though if you want to search for spells without M, you would think to have V and S selected, however it still returns spells with M (as long as they also have V & S). There needs to be a toggle yes toggle no and a toggle I don't care. :P
Ah i see what you talking about. I agree i would expect if i had V selected to only show Verbal spells rather than spells that include Verbal. My mistake for misunderstanding the request.
We've gone back and forth on this one quite a bit. In the end, we wanted to get it out there in one state and see what players thought. Thanks for the feedback - definitely considering all the angles on this one!

Literally the only way I can currently look up which spells don't require a Material component is to have everything in an excel document and to filter. I cannot stress how much this option is needed. We just need the ability to toggle YES (Green), NO (Red), or Doesn't Matter (White) when selecting the V, S, and M toggles.
I love all the features in the Spell Book filters, you guys really nailed a lot of things I wouldn't normally think of.
One would be to not only add the ability to filter FOR a Component (Verbal/Somatic/Material)
Create the feature to filter AGAINST a Component (Verbal/Somatic/Material)
This way we can filter for spells without Somatic components if we are a duel-wielding ranger!
In addition if there a AGAINST and/or FOR Material Components that have a cost.
