Not critical, but it would be cool if there was a little speaker icon next to monster names that you could click on an hear their pronunciation so we can finally know how to pronounce Ixitxachitl or Otyugh.
I haven't seen any official pronunciation guides? I hadn't realized this before, but was there ever actual confirmation that there were "official" pronunciations?
It would take a bunch of work but it would be super useful.
I'm as native of an English-speaker as you can get, here in England itself, and there are more than a few pronunciations even I'm not sure about. 'Ixitxachitl' confuses everyone. (Except that one guy who's about to post and school us all.)
I think he means as in rhyming with crow, not literally pronouncing it as crow with a hard 'c' sound.
Crow, throw, snow, grow.
Drow is only 1-2 letters different from all of those, I expect there are quite a few people out there who think it rhymes with those sounds - especially those who aren't native-English speakers.
I say this as an aforementioned native-English speaker. I'm pretty certain it's the 'brow'-rhyming pronunciation.

While I agree this feature would be awesome... some of the best times are those (good-natured) arguments with friends, where there's no way either side can be proven right, but so much fun trying. As for the drow/cow vs drow/crow debate, I've always been a cow person, but I've met my share of folk who insist on crow.

Agree wholeheartedly. This will - if implemented - be especially nice for us non-native-English-speakers...

Great idea!
Fantastic idea! Until i realise I've been pronouncing things incorrectly all these years. (Seriously though, +1000 to this!)

We had this idea about two weeks ago and I love it.
Can't promise anything yet, but I'm trying to cook up something big for this!
Great Job BadEye and thanks for all the responses on the forums!
Finally could settle the debate if it is pronounced "Drow" as in crow or "Drow" as in brow

Dragon Magazine used to publish pronunciation guides back in the day. Also, some published books include pronunciation guidance. EN World maintains a D & D Pronunciation Guide in its resources section that attempts to consolidate these: http://www.enworld.org/forum/content.php?151-D-D-Pronunciation-Guide#.WNdDljsrI2w
Pronunciation guides would be absolutely awesome

This is a great idea. Now people will finally know how to pronounce Arcana. ;)
