It seems when creating a Druid the Circle of the Moon is not a selectable option. Only all the Land options.
Looking great otherwise!
For the beta test, only material from the SRD and Basic Rules is available. The other official material will be added at the final release. The price for that is still to be announced.
The Archery fighting style isn't applying the +2 to attack on my longbow. Also, I seem to be getting a random proficiency bonus to Animal Handling and I can't figure out where it's coming from.
Some "Background" options are missing. (i.e. no "Outlander").
Barbarian class is missing 2 "Primal Paths".
Aside from the few missing options that I have found, this tool is really good. The character builder is very comprehensive, and will be VERY friendly for beginner players. Looking forward to seeing the progress here!

1: Maybe make the background selection it's own part of the character builder process, much like you have Race, Class, and Abilities separated. Also, maybe move it up a bit or merge it with the skills selection. It is nice to see what skills your background gives you before you select the skills you want to be proficient in.
2. My hit points did not calculate correctly. I have a 1st level high elf rogue with a 12 CON and it shows that I have 13 HP.

Created a Fighter and it also is randomly adding the Animal Handling proficiency bonus.
I am sure it has been said countless times, but I think the background should be the starting point for character selection. Especially for new players. In its current form, this tool is almost useless.

The Empty Throne, The Eternal March, The Forced Hand
Loading character takes a long time/goes out to lunch and never comes back (it was spinning for over an hour). Also noticed a layering issue, I can interact with the menu while it is loading but menu items are a layer under the loading throbber. I either should be able to interact with all menu items while it is loading or none of them.

I can't equip versatile weapons with two hands. I'd like to do that.
Also, it would be nice to see one more bit of information in the un-expanded area for weapons (damage) and spells (range).
Finally, expanding a spell slots box to reveal some boxes that would have fit in the un-expanded seems like excessive UI. Just forget the expansion and put those boxes in plain view. They get used a lot.
So far there are couple of problems I have noticed. The HP stats aren't auto leveling with a leveled character. For example I built a level 9 barbarian, but the sheet is still showing level 1 HP. Do I need to set it to manual and enter it that way? It would be nice if it auto rolled HP for a pre made high level character.
Amazing work, Curse team! I love so many things about the character builder. But instead of enumerating all of them, I'll stick to listing the improvements I'd like to see.
Foremost, the equipment page is not very user-friendly. I would like to be able to choose between starting equipment options, like in the PHB, e.g. "(a) a greataxe or (b) any martial melee weapon" rather than merely have it listed and then having to add it all manually.
While I'm on that topic, I dislike going into a separate "Manage Equipment" screen. It'd be nice to have it right there.
I'll add my vote to those saying it makes more sense to choose a background before choosing a class.
Also, the builder shouldn't allow me to select the same skill proficiency twice (e.g. from background and from class)
There should be "Level Up" button. Right now it's hard to figure out how to get there.
The Features box has a lot of unnecessary information especially under Racial Traits, like "Age," "Alignment," and "Ability Score Increase." Once the character is made, those don't need to be listed. It pushes down the things that are more important to see while playing
Randomized characters should start with some equipment ready to go, at least weapons and armor.
In general, the more I can see at a glance, the better. Too many things on the digital character sheet feel tucked away and out of sight.
Overall, stellar work. I can't wait to see future iterations.
Really loving the character creator so far. The one thing I really, really wish it had was a way to track ammo for things like arrows and crossbow bolts. Also, I could add bolts to my sheet from the computer but it would not add them to my sheet when I tried messing with it from my phone.
I started by transferring my Level 11 character (monk) from paper. I have a few comments, concerns and suggestions.
1. My game works on XP so, I just entered in the current XP total for the character and boom I'm level 11. But not all the stats tracked properly with the level up. I am still stuck at 1d8 hit dice, which is alarming and my HP was stuck at 12 until I entered an override value (I role dice to get HP, so I chose manual HP rather than fixed). I assume it's because I didn't level up incrementally, but all at once. I was also not prompted to choose any ability score increases or any other options (though I know you won't have choice for class archetypes yet because monk only has one in the SRD) for reaching specific levels (which in my case was fine because I was just entering in the numbers and data on my sheet anyways but would be an issue if you were creating a higher level character from scratch).
1.5. I think it would probably be really useful if the standard character builder had a function like the random builder where you could choose starting level (and if there already is one, then cheers and that's my bad for missing it). I haven't checked all the stats off the bat for using the random builder to make higher level characters yet, so I'm not sure if that one is fully functional.
2. My character has a bag of holding and I would appreciate a feature that would let me add items stored in the bag to my "inventory" or "equipment" or whatever that would not affect my carried weight. (It would also just be a great thing to have).
3. I know you guys are still working on the Martial Arts and Ki Point stuff for Monk, so I won't comment on that.
I'm going to continue playing around and try to build a higher level character that I will level incrementally from level 1 instead of all at once. Overall though this thing is very lovely, and I'm enjoying getting to play around in it. Nice work.

It doesn't auto update if you switch to manual either. I ran into the same problem.
First off, this is awesome and I think it's working surprisingly well for how new it is. This being said the equipment manager is a frustrating tool, it would be helpful to be able to add all of your starting gear at once, instead of having to hunt through the list for it.
Okay, a few things on my first touch of the character builder:
When you get the same skill proficiency from multiple places (Intimidation from Half-Orc race and Soldier background), it should allow you to pick a replacement for one. Currently, it seems to randomly assign a replacement (I got Animal Handling).
Adding equipment is a slog.
The matching seems to flake out (I'll type in Javelin and it will show Javelins for a few seconds, then revert to the whole list again).
Just having the search and not having a filter is a mistake, in my opinion. You should be able to look at just Tools or just Weapons. Also, including magic items should be a checkbox, not the default. For starting characters, it makes finding normal equipment a needle in a haystack deal.
If you choose starting equipment, it should auto-populate.
This distinction between "equipped" and "carried" isn't clear? I can equip my explorer's pack. What does that mean?
No easy way to enter custom equipment options? You have to go into homebrew to add your military trophy?
When you pick a background, there should be a drop-down for Personality Traits, Ideals, etc to make it easier for new players, so they don't need to cut and paste.
Having to flip back and forth from racial description and the page where you set your appearance is obnoxious, that information should be together.
Also, the height, weight, and age tables should be present when you choose those things and it should let you randomly determine.

I used randomize to build a Rogue. It had a 5 Dex. Maybe a little too random?
