What is the status/prioritization on allowing DM granted bonuses that break the rules. To my mind this would include:
Bonus feats
Bonus skills
Bonus spell slots
Bonus usage of class abilities
To my mind, the feat one would be both the most useful and (possibly) the easiest to implement since it would allow for the displaying of the text of the ability (and any associated tracking in the character sheet) and it's "just" a case of letting the user select a bonus feat from a dropdown. I know there are workarounds (such as modifying races to include it or making a magic item which duplicates the text), but they're subpar compared to just being able to select the feat from a drop down.
We can already manually override HP and ability scores, so that allows for a lot there, but would love the ability to grant feats as rewards or just power adjustment at will.
BadEye, how much are you looking forward to the inevitable episode of critical role when the players' character sheets get revamped and they have no idea that it's happened until the stream starts? Because I'm looking forward to the wtf-is-this moment.
Is there going be a way for dungeon masters to be able to write homebrew campaigns and utilize the linking built into DDB?
I like creating magic items for players, and like Mr. Mercer on Critical Role, I enjoy handing out magic items to players and seeing the joy on their face when they find out what it is. With that said would it be possible to get a way to print off item cards for homebrew items?
While the Design Workshop articles have been great for the basics on creating Homebrew within D&D Beyond, there is still a lack of detail around all the specific D&D Beyond Elements of Homebrew that actually make the brews work as expected within the builder. I've been saying since homebrew items came out that we could benefit from some deep documentation about what each property/option does and affects within the builder & sheet.
Is there any chance of documentation like this actually happening? Surely you guys have some internal requirements that you can utilize as a jump-start?
Also, any chance of running into any of the Team at Origins?
Would it be possible to add a way to filter playable races by what ability scores they can improve?
For context, I often go into character building with an idea of what class I'd like to play, and I prefer picking a race that would allow me to start with 16+ in the corresponding primary stat. Short of memorizing what races give what ASIs, however, I have to go into each race's descriptions one at a time to figure out what my options are. It'd be nice to be able to say "Show only races that give >= +1 DEX and >= +1 INT", for example.
Hi there, any chance of a developer API being opened up for any of this stuff? I’m a frontend developer and I’d love to play around with some experimental UIs for my own campaigns. Have you thought about that at all?
Any update on API support? It was confirmed you guys were working on it (long term) like a year ago. Any chance we might see the ability to share content from dndbeyond (soucebooks/modules) into R20/FG and other VTTs, perhaps using oAuth? Would be nice for users to not have to buy the books for each platform, or maybe at least get a discount in other places once they purchase it once. I have physical copies of the PHB, DMG, MM, SCAG as well as copies of each on Fantasy Grounds. I also have a physical copy of OOTA, and have COS and POTA on Fantasy Grounds. I'd really like to use D&D Beyond, but its really hard to justify purchasing the same content 3 times.

What is the plan for the race specific feats that were part of the Xanathar’s Guide to Everything pre-order? Will these be available for purchase by those of us that were late to the D&D Beyond train and were not able to pre-order?
You say that you monitor the forums and prioritise work based on feedback and demand: what is the currently most demanded feature of D&D Beyond to be either implemented or refined?
I'm going to be it's the character sheet revamp. If I win this bet, I want to be given overlord status on the forums.

Given that Windows 10 surface and surface-style laptops, or even other regular laptops, are used by players and DMs offline (especially at conventions) is there any re-consideration for creating a UWP version of the app for offline use on Windows? Pretty please? I'll buy you all pizza!
BTW: I would even consider purchasing a Windows UWP version of the app. Say $9.99 to $19.99 one time purchase?
Really looking forward to the sheet revamp! What's the next big undertaking we will be rooting for once that's complete?

Check out the upcoming full 3D VTT, TaleSpire! [official website] [subreddit] [discord]
I'd like to follow up PanoramicPanda's question and ask if DDB staff will be at GenCon?
(also TaleSpire looks awesome)
What's the inventory management gonna look and act like in the new character sheet?
Can we quickly add items to inventory with editable description, qty, and weight?
Is the inventory sortable?
Can you attach notes to items? (Cursed, broken, dirty, bloody, dull, owned by, etc.)
Can you create homebrew non-magical items?
Real-time character sheet tracking for DMs. Like a dashboard. Will that be in scope someday?
Because I want to see when the PCs are out of hit points/spells/abilities that recharge on rests.
Right now I open 3-5 browser windows with an auto-refresh timer extension. It kinda works...
I am a Canadian Dungeon Master, which means I reflexively apologize when the monsters score a critical hit on the players' characters.

Amazon Kindle specific version?
having DNDBeyond run naturally on one of the biggest tablet markets sounds like a big deal
Two Questions for the BadEye himself.
1. Adding Trinkets (PHB 161) to a Characters Inventory. Do you have plans to including that in a Character's Inventory?
2. Encumbrance. Having coins affecting encumbrance (50 coins equals 1 pound)

Last month we saw a lot of what was done on the character sheet revamp, what still remains unfinished?
How is a homebrew's rating determined?

Are there any plans to include random generators in dnd beyond like NPC’s or random settlements?
1. In the current work cycle is being done to link Wildshapes/ familiars to character sheet in near future?
2. Will Ritual Caster Feat be integrated like Magic Initiate to the character sheet in near future?
I love that you do these! Here’s a couple quick questions/requests:
- Star or flag characters I am playing (as opposed to the ones made for fun) and be able to sort for them
- Add a View Creation button to see the creation after saving changes (would help a lot with mobile creation)
- Add date posted as a filter for searching forums
- Ability to add items to different bags (in case a bag is stolen teehee!)
- Add a “Locations” notes section
- Keep on keepin on! You guys are amazing!

You don't OWN your books on DDB: WotC can change them any time. What do you think will happen when OneD&D comes out?
