Is it possible to have spell scrolls be separated from their categories? Right now, I have to write that I have a scroll of Tongues in my notes; I'd like to just add the scroll name in my inventory for quick reference. Maybe a memo pad for the inventory slot, if too many items would be listed?
You can homebrew a magic item with a spell scroll as the template. You can add the spell to that homebrew spell scroll and change the item's name to distinguish it.
Unless that spell is WOTC's IP. Try adding Bigby's Hand, for instance. Same for any homebrewed spell. Can't put it in a homebrewed item either. The team is addressing this, though, and they haven't let us down yet!
I'm a poor Monk who chose the Way of the Four Elements. On my character sheet I currently have to Drill Down from "Features" -> "Elemental Disciplines" Then scroll down to view these abilities. I feel that these should be available a section similar to the Spells section that other casters have, or somehow loaded into the Limited Use section, or perhaps a new section on its own. I know it's a weak subclass but it would make the character sheet page much more helpful. Thanks.
Edit: Also it seems that the exported player sheet does not have the Unarmed Strike in the Attacks and Spellcasting section.

We plan to add Ki, Metamagic, Wild Shape, and many more class-specific sections over time.
Forgive me for not reading 130+ pages of responses before making a request, but I would like a feature that lets you export a 20-level character at any level. For example, if I wanted to plan out my advancement, I could build it to level 20, but I can print or view a sheet of that character at any level in between.

I want this too, so it is likely to happen at some point!
Are there any performance issues with the character builder right now? I'm having trouble adding proficiencies from various drop down menus (the generator stalls). I've tried restarting my device and tried multiple devices, but it still happens on all devices that I've tried. Could be internet, but can access internet just fine through other apps and can access other dnd beyond features without trouble (including this forum).
Essentially, I can select a proficiency, but need to reload the page to continue. My selection is saved, but it stalls again if I move on to the next selection box.

I'm getting the same D&D Beyond loading icon each time I make a selection in the builder - which freezes, leaving me having to reload the page. Is there a server issue?

And, when starting a new character and selecting a class, it freezes up with the load screen above, and somehow treats it as both selecting the first class and hitting the add a class at the same time, saying that the base class does not meet the prerequisites for multiclassing - even though I've only done the initial class selection for level 1, leaving me back out of a second class add that I never initiated.

It is working for me now. I was able to work on a character without interruption for the last 30 minutes (approx.)

Spoke too soon. The problem is still occurring particularly in race and class sections of character generation and are similar to issues described by others.

Hey folks! This issue should be corrected now. The red spinning circle of death was occurring on characters without backgrounds when a race or class choice was made, but we identified where the issue was and deployed a change.

So I scanned through this thread and read all of the Staff Posts. I had missed the mock for the new sheet, and man that's exciting. I also saw how there would possibly be color theme choices, which is nice.
I have a suggestion on that end. I think one option should be a "Beginner View" with color-coded sections, with a key for the DM to reference. I've seen this listed as a suggestion for helping new players with physical sheets on reddit a bunch, and I think it's a great idea. Most of my players are relatively new, so things that seem obvious aren't so obvious. Like, instead of having to say "Your attack options are in the Attacks section" (because they still have to sift through a certain amount of information overload to find that), I could just say "Your attacks are in the RED box." I feel like this would speed things up for new players a lot more.

6. I'm going to throw one in. Please add an index! Maybe I'm just too set in my ways with physical books but I was really struggling to try to find some info in Sword Coast last night. I did eventually find it and after I found it the location of said info made sense. In my mind it would be so much easier to have an index for the digital books where I can look for the keywords I'm looking for and they reference me to the right section of the digital book.
I'm definitely with you on this! I find that the search engine is sometimes not as accurate as I'd like. I think an index for the compendium content (with an option to only show items based on which sources you select) would go a long way to help this!
Please forgive me if this has already be asked for.
I have been doing some inventory management on my created characters, and I was hoping the D&D Beyond team could look into ways to organize inventories, particular as my character might organize things. For Example, I might have multiple Backpack, Pouches, or Sacks with assorted adventuring gear in them, that my character could pick up and then go adventuring with. Another piece would be being able to store adventuring gear on a beast of burden, a follower, or in a wagon. If possible even having multiple layers for this storage mechanic would be particularly helpful. For example, left saddle bag on my draft horse.
Another thing I would like to see is spell components and focuses that are for particular spells added to the general adventuring gear. Examples being, a Crystal ball for Scrying, rare Chalks for teleportation circle, Diamond dust, Gold powder, ect. Being able to add these things to my inventory would be rather helpful.
Thank you for your time and effort!

Are there any discussions on interaction with Discord as far as character sheet interaction?
