I posted a separate thread for this, but reposting here just in case:
When you click the short rest button, you get check boxes to mark off each hit dice that you spend on healing. It'd be great if your hit points were also shown on this popup, so that you can apply the healing from each dice roll on one screen. We found it kind of clunky to have to bring up the hit points, roll all the dice and apply the healing, and then switch back over to the short rest screen to mark them off. Being able to manage this from one popup window would be really great.
Yikes! 140 pages and growing. Forgive me if I didn't check to see if these are posted yet:
I just created a Tabaxi Far Traveler Rogue and a couple things are bugging me about the character sheet.
1. I can't see my non-skill proficiency easily without having to dig into the Features and Description sections. I.E. my Far Traveler's proficiency with dice or my Rogue's proficiency with Thieves' Tools.
2. Expertise shows up for the skill I chose; Perception but not for Thieves' Tools.
3. String is missing from the item list. It's part of the Burglar's Pack. I was able to add every other item from that pack individually.
3A. When you select the Burglar's Pack (or any starting pack), you should have the option to "explode" it in your inventory list, so each item shows up and not just the pack.
4. When you level up and want to add your additional rolled HP, you should be able to enter the roll directly, and it auto-adds. Instead, you have to add the roll to the number listed, which is confusing because the number listed is pre-Con bonus.
5. Why can't I add mundane items to the item inventory? Adding it in Equipment > More > Possessions works, but is clunky, and you might forget you have something when you don't see it in your main inventory list.

Wait for the deluxe character sheet revamp.

No, I didn't say that for the character sheet revamp - we're targeting this year for that to be completed, but as always, I can't give any real dates for in-progress development.
We're on track for the next update within the timeframe you mention, which will be starting equipment/ item customization updates.

Were the live Q&A/update streams planned to be monthly? It's good to catch up and keep informed on stuff.

My apology i just rewatch it and its probably because the starting equipment/ item costomization update was under ... character creator/character sheet on the list with character sheet revamp...
i asked in another thread some time ago if the revamp was going to be made section by section so i gues the answer is yes since you guys made the background revamp and very soon it will be the starting equipment / item costomization updates ... i guess its not the whole container revamp either ?
i must say it wasnt very clear ... and it still unclear about the character creator how is it going to be revamp is it be at the end with the character sheet ?

Yes - as shared in the first one, the update/ Q&A streams will be monthly, every third Friday of the month.
To me the smallest effort for biggest win is for the party to be able to see your character sheet.
I would love-live-live yo see this sooner as well! Pretty please?
This is a good example of something that tickles me about public perception about development.
Doing this is actually harder than many of the other things we have on the list because granting others the ability to see character sheets introduces a whole new set of permissions. We can't let another player edit someone's sheet without her consent and displaying everything on the sheet in read-only mode means moving several of our calculations that happen instantly on the sheet server-side to render the locked copy.
Hope that middle part didn't bore you, but I thought I'd pull back the curtain a bit to say it's unfortunately not a small effort.
Rest assured though, I want read-only sheets for a variety of reasons and this will be a big part of the revamp. We're taking this opportunity to move around that logic to support it.

Pish-tosh! You click a button and the magical fairies in the thinga-me-bob machiney-whatsit does everything for you. I know this because I have experience in web site development. I've made a Word Press blog and have a Squarespace site.

Thanks for the helpful and detailed reply of why it's not as easy as we thought. Looking forward to this feature a lot, since it would help party dynamics.

Complete programming is a fabled level 15 spell- Mystra herself would struggle with it. Fey creatures can only do so much so quickly.

Thanks for taking the time to pull back that curtain for us, BadEye, I appreciate the response. I'll continue to wait patiently, of course, but that doesn't mean I have to like it! :-)

Just a thought, and not an ideal solution, but you could just grant access to the PDF view of the character sheet. That's already read-only.

Would it be possible to close this thread, consolidate the feedback, and start another one?
We will do that when the new character sheet goes live. :)
